  I’m updating my original review of Grease Monkey after speaking with their area manager this morning. My initial experience still stands: the way this situation was handled at the store level was extremely disappointing. I was met with dismissal and hostility when trying to address a very real concern about my vehicle following an oil change. However, I do want to acknowledge that the area manager reached out to me directly and was not previously aware of the situation. After hearing the details, he apologized and explained that the proper procedure should have been to simply ask me to bring the vehicle back in so they could take another look at it—something I had been requesting from the start. While I still stand by my concerns regarding the initial service and how the situation was handled in-store, I appreciate that management took the time to listen and make an effort to resolve the issue once it was brought to their attention. My vehicle is now at the dealership's service center, where they are pinpointing the issue. Original Review: If I could leave negative stars for Grease Monkey, I would. This has been one of the worst customer service and service experiences I’ve ever had. I brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change. At the time, I was told there was some residue on the skid plate and possibly a small crack in the oil pan. Important distinction: residue—not an active leak, not a major issue, and certainly nothing that had ever caused visible oil spots in my driveway. Within 24–48 hours of leaving your shop, my car went from “no noticeable leak” to actively dumping oil. I discovered a large oil stain in my driveway overnight, and after driving to Tennessee, I woke up to a literal pool of oil under my car. At that point, my vehicle was already 3 quarts low. I had the car inspected locally in Tennessee, and what I was shown (with photo evidence) was extremely concerning: 1. The drain plug is actively leaking 2. The compression washer is missing 3. There is evidence that someone attempted a temporary sealant fix on the plug The level of hostility, denial, and refusal to even consider the evidence was shocking. An oil change at your location costs well over $100. At that price point, I expect basic competence and, at minimum, accountability when something goes wrong. Instead, I was left stranded out of state with a vehicle that is now unsafe to drive as-is and potentially damaged due to oil loss. I am requesting that management take this seriously, review the evidence, and take responsibility for what is very clearly a service-related failure. Until then, I strongly caution others to think twice before trusting this location with their vehicle.

  Great speedy service at Grease Monkey today. They pulled my car in and got to work immediately. Kevin and Austin were great :)
