  It’s refreshing to see that there are still honest, knowledgeable and caring service providers in Palm Beach. Scott of J&J Electric is a prime example. I initially took my 2007 C6 Z06 corvette to a auto repair shop off of Military in W Palm, the old biker chick quoting prices thought she could take me for a ride and quoted $2,000 for a new OEM alternator installed. I quickly checked the price that I could get the same new OEM part for, $545. I left that place in a hurry. A Chevrolet dealership parts department quoted $1,035 for the alternator alone. Seems in addition to labor, in my opinion they greatly mark up parts. I went a different route and am I glad! I called Scott at J&J. He recommended Cole a mobile mechanic to stop by my place first for an overall troubleshoot. Cole isolated the problem to the alternator and quickly removed it. I brought it to Scott at J&J. He immediately bench tested it, ordered the part needed (stator) next day. He assured me that the rest of the alternator was 100 percent. He promptly installed it, sent me on my way - cost $145. Cole, the mobile mechanic was at my place same day total for the overall engine/vehicle diagnostic together with removal and reinstall of alternator then confirmed everything was now working perfectly - cost $250. I highly recommend both Scott at J&J for electrical component diagnostics and repair. Ask him to provide Cole’s contact info if you require a very experienced mobile mechanic.

  Poor customer refuse to sell me alternator because I have after stereo system in my .. kept brushing me off to buy from some one California .. don’t buy from these ppl

  This is long overdue, but this shop still deserves the credit. I brought in a starter I had rebuilt but wouldn't function right. They had it fixed in less than five minutes with a slight adjustment. I ended up spending about another 30 minutes just talking with the one guy. They're extremely knowledgable, friendly, and they do great work. I highly recommend this shop.

  Had a great experience with this company! Scott is the best, he really helped me out with repairing my starter for my vintage boat. Fast, efficient, and professional. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a job well done!!
