Guys at the cash register play scamming games & try to get you to buy extra things it's weird. I went in to get a new battery, wasn't sure if i wanted to just charge my old one or not. First they try to push the highest price battery on me, then when I saw cheaper ones they got upset instantly about it not fitting my car. Mind you i already came in earlier and found a cheaper one that did fit my car. I left the previous cheaper battery because the cashier guy got upset that I wouldn't buy two bottles of fuel injector cleaner that I didn't ask for or need. When I said no I just want the battery, he took it back and threatened to give me the expensive one instead. Which is why I went with a different cashier next time, who then told me that my battery can't charge. Which is bullshit considering a week ago I charged it at the autozone on Dixie and Belvedere. It only died because I was cleaning and left my fan running with the car off. Smh never going back to this place ever!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
