Air filter installation isn't normally something they do, but he kindly checked and popped the new Carquest filter in for me in under 30 seconds. Goodyear wanted to charge me $70 for everything, so Misha saved me $50 today! Incredible, helpful customer service. I'll definitely be back!

The company jerked me around for months until recently when they decided to pay me half of my out of pocket costs for replacing the parts they damaged. Long story short, now taking them to small claims court. No way of reaching corporate office…kicks you back to the regional and district managers who are both non-responsive. Lack of accountability from the top down. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CHAIN FOR ANYTHING.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
