  Tuesday 9/29/26 I went to the Hopkins location where a recent oil change was done on my vehicle and met with Devonta and Tim. I told them after a recent oil change I developed a slow leak leaving a few drops a day in my driveway. They were very professional and allowed me to vent. Devonta remembered my wife from having the service done on 09/03/26 and had me drive into the bay and they immediately found the problem. It’s was leaking from the drain plug not from a cracked plastic filter housing which would be costly to fix. The original oil change was the premium full synthetic , but I really wanted to try the new Valvoline synthetic oil, soI asked for the Valvoline Restore and Protect and was willing to pay the difference when they refill it. They refused my money and told me what any customer wants to here, “If we made or even might of made just out of precaution a mistake, we make it right. “ they took pictures from under my vehicle and showed a dry plastic filter housing and a wet drain plug. I did replace the drain plug maybe 3 oil changes because the bolt face was becoming rounded. Apparently I bought a bolt that fit and had metal seal/washer. Looked like what I removed. Since a local Hyundai dealership where I bought the car had the preformed the last 2 changes, I don’t know if they changed a to another bolt or if I did in fact buy a crappy universal holt from auto zone. Devonta and Tim explained the “slop” between the metal washer and bolt shaft was causing oil to slowly drip out. They replaced the bolt at no charge with a bolt that had a rubber seal built in that can be replaced every oil change. I was very impressed with the professionalism of Devonta and Tim as they had a disgruntled customer telling them the problem and with hesitation Devonta and Tim found the issue, replaced the oil with the upgraded oil at no cost, and replaced the plug with an upgraded seal/washer also at no Most importantly Devonta and Tim dropped everything they were doing to resolve my problem and even allowed me to see via cellphone pictures what the problem was and have a constant dialogue of what they were seeing underneath and how put me at ease knowing it was a $10 bolt and not a $1,000 plastic oil filter housing. Strickland Brothers on Hopkins, just because I haven’t been to the other Titusville location is an incredible company. Also in my travels into this problem, Strickland Brothers has multiple location around the U.S. and rest assured your problem even if they didn’t cause it, they will fix it. I will definitely use them for all future oil changes as they have shown they care more about your car than the dealership where you’ve bought your last 5 cars. Can’t leave out Logan holding down the pit. Thanks again Tim, Devonta and Logan for your professionalism and making a customer for life.
