  Our repair man Elijah was absolutely amazing. Our service was seamless, and educational. He took the time to answer every question , and explain the entire process, as I had never experienced a broken window ever. What and easy, delightful experience. Just like the commercial they made me feel safe, and the experience was easy and light.

  The technician triggered an airbag malfunction error on my 2025 vehicle and they did not know how to clear it. I had to make 2 separate trips to their location to have it looked at and they still couldn’t figure it out. Ultimately, the manager John said there was nothing they did to trigger that error message and blamed everyone else for it, including the previous glass company I used and even my husband for installing a dash cam. I had to make another appointment with my vehicle’s dealership to have it fixed. Turns out Safelite just didn’t plug two wires back together when they unplugged it to replace the glass. 3 trips, 8 hrs of waiting in total, 3 days taken out of my work week, and it was as simple as going back and just checking their work, which they failed to do. If the technician wasn’t high as a kite when he serviced my car, maybe he would have remembered to plug the wire for the seatbelt indicator lights back together—(fyi—he smelled so strongly of weed when he came out to see the error on my car, I was getting dizzy from second hand high). I am never again taking my car to Safelite.

  My wife had a crack going across the windshield with you safe flight in the past so we said what the heck let’s do this again prior to arrival. The technician called it inform us that there is an issue with the delivery. They received the windshields and nine of them were crafted and damaged and they were not sure if they were going to be able to complete the work. He told me that he would communicate with me as they worked through the issue and tried to get it corrected well less than 30 minutes later he called me back to inform me he was 20 minutes out. Refresh brand new windshield to do the work. I was extremely impressed. Not only were they able to get the equipment and parts they needed to do the work but the biggest thing was the fact that the technician communicated from start to finish, which is something that a lot of companies failed to do nowadays.   Windshield was replaced. Didn't put the seal back that goes with the cowling plate. Manager stated that Safelite wasn't responsible for it because of normal wear and tear. If you took it off, you put it back on. It wasn't part of the windshield. It's part of the piece that covers it. You can't purchase the seal alone. You have to purchase the entire component.

  The scheduling process was easy. Unfortunately I had to drop off my car due to my windshield needing to be calibrated afterwards. I dropped off the car at 0930. By 3pm I had t heard anything so I figured I would call to check the status. That’s when I learned there is no way to contact the office. No phone number connects to that office on purpose. I worried. Now at 4pm I still don’t hear anything and it was a 30 min drive to the location and they close at 5pm. I started googling reviews and saw other people complain about not being able to communicate with them and one person mentioned they left their car keys inside the car very visible in the public parking lot… I somehow found a number for a corporate office and that person called the location my car was at and they were able to tell me the car just started to get worked on and will be ready at 5:30pm. The windshield was replaced but my car now has this sensor going off that has never gone off in the 3 yrs I’ve had it for “lane departure” and it makes my wheel shake. Second, the front passenger door is now getting stuck when opening, I am able to open the door but the paint from that panel door has chipped bc it rubs with the panel next to it when opening the door. So no, I would not recommend safelite.
