I have gone to other Safelite locations in the past for windshield repairs and/or replacements but the other locations I have tried don't compare to the customer service that Ashley and the team have given to me when I have come (which in the last year was quite often due to rocks finding my windshield when driving on the interstate). As a matter of fact, they've corrected issues that the Linebaugh (Citrus Park) location created. I was able to finally get a resolution to my windshield being improperly installed by the Linebaugh location that caused chrome trim damage. long story short, the team at the Thonotosassa location are amazing! I will always return here for any windshield repairs.

I used safe lite twice for my windshield. Each time I received excellent service. The convenience of them coming to my job and home was great! The last technician on Saturday went out his way to ensure I got my windshield done without having to reschedule due to weather. Highly recommend safelite.

Safelite in Thonotosassa completely ruined my vehicle, performed incredibly sloppy work, and caused physical property damage inside and out.
I first brought my Toyota RAV4 to this shop to fix a single crack on my windshield. They rushed through the work in under forty-five minutes, cut major corners, and put the wrong windshield model in my car. When they were finished, nobody said a word to me about any problems, but I immediately noticed that the job looked sloppy and the side trim was not neat. I also noticed that the black cowl panel outside under the wipers was not staying down on the passenger side.
A second technician had to come out to my house later to take out the wrong glass and put the correct windshield in. While he was at my house, I asked him about why the plastic panel was lifting, and he confirmed that the clip had been completely ripped off. It looked like it happened when they were changing the first windshield at the shop, and nobody told me about it.
They sent another technician out to my house later to replace that broken cowl panel. But while he was putting it on, he pushed down way too hard and completely cracked my new windshield on the driver's side. Even after that, the cowl fix did not work at all, and it kept shaking, rattling, and lifting up while I was driving. Management scheduled a tech to come back out to switch the broken glass and fix the panel again, but when he showed up, he did not even bring a windshield with him. When I spoke to a manager to find out why, they said the glass order had been canceled in their system, but they claimed they did not know why or who did it.
I had to drive back out to their physical shop today so they could finally replace the cracked windshield and fix the cowl panel. They rushed the job out in under an hour again, and the work looks completely messy. The technician admitted he had to manually bend parts under my car's frame just to force the plastic down, and he said he tightened up a screw to keep it in place. Because he bent everything up, the passenger-side corner trim is now twisted and sticking out crookedly. Plus, they used way too much glue, leaving a huge layer of thick black gunk oozing out from under the glass and smeared all over my outside trim panels. They are careless, totally disorganized, and completely ruined the clean look of my car. I am going to see if the cowl panel pops back up, and if it does, I will be taking it back to them and they will have to pay for the damage they caused to my car.

Safelite did a great job repairing my windshield, but the experience afterward was frustrating. I spent $50 on an Uber home, only to realize my car keys—with my house keys attached—were left at Safelite. They were already closed, so I had to wait an hour in the rain for a $100 locksmith. A quick reminder to check for my keys before leaving would have been greatly appreciated.

The Thonotosassa, FL 33592 location did a great job! We had a problem getting OEM glass authorization from our insurance company and Ashley at this location helped us navigate the problem and gave us all the information we needed to get what we needed for our vehicle.
Once we got to the location I was impressed with the professionalism shown by all the people I dealt with that day. If you live in the east Tampa or Brandon FL area go to this location even if it is a little out of your way. I found it was more than worth it! Great Job!!
