I can’t say enough great things about Mike Gillespie in the service department at Westshore Honda in Tampa!
After dealing with an ongoing issue that no one else seemed able to diagnose, Mr. Gillespie took the time to thoroughly evaluate my vehicle, quickly identified the actual problem, and had it repaired promptly. The difference is incredible—my car now drives like it’s brand new!
His knowledge, professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail truly set him apart. It’s such a relief to finally find someone who genuinely knows what they’re doing and cares about getting the job done right the first time.

Mi experiencia está siendo pésima. Compré un Volkswagen Jetta acá supuestamente porque es más confiable qué un dealer pequeño, pero a los 2 días de recibirlo no prendió, lo llevé en grúa y me cambiaron la batería por otra usada (por lo menos sirve) ese mismo día les dije que el aire después de una hora ya no enfriaba y me dijeron que no encontraron fallas. 20 días después el aire no funciona y al llevarlo me dicen que deben cambiar el compresor y que esto me vale $2.050 adicionales. Me cobraron el carro a precio de un vehículo qué funciona perfectamente y es lo que uno cree por ser un dealer grande, pero no ha sido así, funcionó bien cuando me lo entregaron pero al día siguiente ya no y es un daño tremendo que me hacen al tener que conducir un vehículo sin aire en La Florida. Realmente me siento estafado, además hubo algunas inconsistencias en el proceso de la venta que me dejaron también muchas dudas de la transparencia de algunas personas de ese equipo de trabajo. Anteriormente compré un par de vehículos en un dealer pequeño en Bradenton y nunca tuvo una sola falla, esta vez no lo hice por la tasa de interés. Sé que eso es una lotería, pero sí ha sido pésima mi experiencia con Westshore Honda y lo haré público por todas las redes sociales pues tengo pruebas de ello aunque legalmente creo que nada puedo hacer ya, pero socialmente debo ser responsable y advertir a la comunidad.

Be extremely careful when dealing with this dealership. Based on my experience, the pricing process felt misleading, and I would strongly advise anyone shopping here to review every line of the paperwork before signing.
I visited Westshore Honda to purchase a **2024 Honda Accord Hybrid** and was fully prepared to buy the vehicle. I genuinely liked the car, but the buying experience completely changed my decision.
When I received the Out-the-Door (OTD) quote, I found several discrepancies that I had to identify and question myself:
* A **double sales tax** was applied, which is incorrect for a vehicle purchase in Florida. For 31K, they have added approx 3700.
* Charges that appeared to already be included in the advertised online price were added again in the dealership quote.
* Even after my trade-in was included, the sales tax was still calculated on the original purchase price instead of applying the applicable trade-in tax credit.
* The mileage for my trade-in was entered incorrectly when obtaining the Carfax report.
These were not isolated issues. I had to go through the quote line by line and ask for corrections on multiple items before the numbers started to make sense. When there are this many discrepancies in a single transaction, it raises serious concerns about the accuracy and transparency of the pricing process.
If I had not carefully reviewed the paperwork myself, I would have ended up paying thousands of dollars more than I should have.
Because of this experience, I have escalated the matter to **Honda Customer Relations** for investigation (**Case #16464989**). I hope Honda reviews the practices at this dealership, as experiences like this can negatively impact customer trust in the Honda brand.
My advice to future buyers: **double-check every fee, every tax calculation, and every line item before signing anything.**
