  My first time using Sixt. I used Kayak to find a one-way car rental from Tampa to Miami International Airport. Routed me through Priceline and then to Sixt. I liked that there was a location closer to my house than having to go to Tampa international Airport! The agent Shaniqua was professional, friendly and helpful. She explained that I would save money by using the one-day toll pass. I originally rented a Toyota, and she offered me a free upgrade to a Mercedes, stating that it got better gas mileage and was safer. I agreed. However, when I drove away, I noticed the low tire pressure alarm lights on. The left rear tire was 40 psi. It should be 47. I got the tires inflated and had no further problems with the alarm light, so it does not appear that the tire had a leak.They should have noticed when an alarm like that lights up. It was difficult figuring how to use the Mercedes controls. I wish I had stayed with the Toyota, since I am familiar with that company's control scheme.

  horrible, they will overbook your appointment then cancel AFTER your pickup time! customer service rep called me 3 hours before my pickup time and told me she wasn't sure if they were going to find a car for me. said she would call me back at 2. Well at 2:30 i tried to call but apparently can't call the location directly and got routed to the customer service hotline which was pointless. They couldn't get ahold of the location either. She told me to just go to the location at 3 for my pickup time and ask them then. No? I'm not driving all the way there if they don't have a car for me confirmed. Then the rep finally calls me at 3:30pm (30 mins after my pickup time) and says sorry we don't have a car. What a nightmare! Not only will i not recommend Sixt, I will make sure everyone I know will NEVER use them and pay more for Hertz or another company that has appropriate customer service.
