I was really frustrated with my recent claim and glass insurance through Safelite. Which is the complete opposite of what happened a few years ago when it was completely seamless. I was given the runaround and a bunch of different cases, had to do three separate appointments to make this happen. Had to call them several times to figure out what glass was supposed to be ordered, even though it was taken down a few times, and even after all of those things at the final appointment, they showed up 90 minutes early when scheduled. It was a very frustrating process from beginning to end.

After the service, the clear of the rearview mirror was out of operation. Now they are not responsible for repairing it.It can be seen in the photo of the pre-inspection that it worked properly. But now they say that the camera was already damaged. It's funny because the pre-inspection photo itself contradicts it. I also have another one from after the service that shows a piece of the connector on the floor
Very disappointed with this company. We already had 3 visits and the job is still not completed. On the first visit, the technician broke the sensor bracket. On the latest visit, they installed a cracked windshield. This has been very frustrating and time consuming. I expected professional work and better quality control. Save yourself and go somewhere else. Not recommended at all!
My Tech Robby was, in every sense of the word, excellent! He was punctual and he took his time explaining the process and did was looks like a perfect job. He even set up a proactive appointment for me at the local shop next-day to ensure that none of the safety features on my Volkswagen were affected by the windshield replacement. Fantastic service all around!
windshield replacement went fine and the guy that did it was very nice (chaz), five stars for him.
the problem came in the waiting room. a man walks in to express his displeasure with his service, calm but firm. this employee comes out (no clue her name, maybe something with an A, brunette.), interrupts him, and then proceeds to agitate him and be VERY inflammatory whilst throwing shots at him for being upset, all while he is very clearly trying to remain as calm as possible. she then proceeds to threaten him with the police while saying she feels unsafe. i have never in my life seen every single person in a room collectively eye roll until today.
as a customer im disappointed, and as a woman- i’m embarrassed. saying you feel unsafe whilst being the aggressor is disgusting and if the police had came and he had been hurt due to her crocodile tears, you’d all have quite the headline on your hands.
