  We rented an SUV at the Tampa Airport the end and returned it the first part of July. The rental counter upstairs was extremely busy and we were helped by a great employee who did everything he could to help us do the "paper" work on the computer. When we got downstairs, we did have about a 20-minute wait for our car, which is why I gave it 4* rather than 5*. The return experience was phenomenal. The agent helped us by calling for wheelchair assistance and had us stay in the car with the air-conditioner going to keep us cool. He also waited with us until the assistants arrived which was only a few minutes. Outstanding service!!

  Worst rental experience ever. I had a flat tire around 9 pm and when I called roadside assistance the first person was rude and hung up on us as we were inquiring about what was the next steps. We called back and service was somewhat better and was told that a tow would be coming because the car had no spare. We were told that we would have a Dodge Durango or similar vehicle waiting at the airport. About 1.5 hours later I received a call saying that tow would not arrive until the next morning. We had a meeting the morning 45 miles away, that we missed. The tow arrived the next morning and that process was seamless. However, when I arrived at airport no car was waiting and Elise the airport manager was rude and dismissive and gave me a Ford Escape which is supposed to to be the same class. This vehicle could barely hold our luggage. I called Enterprise several times and requested a call from a manager as no operator could. Never git a call , received an email approximately 4 hours later. I have rented cars from Enterprise for over 30 years So disappointed, Enterprise should remember that true customer service begins when a customer requires assistance not when things are going well.

  Reseved through Expedia. Rav4 was clean and worked well for us for the weekend. Pick-up and departing the garage were easy. Check-in could be improved. We were not allowed to "skip the line" ahead of time as with other car rental companies. When we arrived to the Tampa airport offsite location, the Enterprise line was long. Alternatively, we tried to use one of the available compterized kiosks, but it kept looping us back to the beginning after entering our information. An Enterprise representative on-site tried to assist but encountered the same problem. He gave us an online link we were able to use to complete the process, although it was very time consuming. It took about 20 minutes, from the time we arrived, to complete the registration. Better signage inside the building should also be added for directing customers to garage for vehicle pick-up.

  Sharing my positive experience with Enterprise at the Tampa Florida Airport. This location deserves a five-star rating for its efficiency and ease of use. Navigating the airport to connect with the train was simple, as the signage was clear and accessible. I highly recommend using the Enterprise mobile application for pre-check-in; it allowed me to skip the counter and meet customer representative at the parking lot to select a vehicle. The checkout process was seamless and consistent with the high standards I expect from Enterprise, with no hidden fees or unnecessary sales pitches. The return process was equally straightforward. I followed the prompts in the mobile application to confirm my return, dropped off the rental, and received the final bill via email. I also appreciate how easily rewards points accumulate toward free rentals. Thank you for the excellent service.

  This review is for Enterprise Rent-A-Car at Tampa International Airport. The facility is fabulous if you are flying in and flying out. Easy. They let you pick your car, you check out at the exit gate and continue on your way. But, if you are a local and need to rent when a stand alone Enterprise isn't open, this is not your place! We drove around per GPS and only saw the Car Rental return sign that said No Personal Vehicles. Well, we ended up having to call. The nice customer service lady told us to go where the rental return location is with our personal vehicle. They are not equipped to handle this. The manager was very nice when we picked up our rental. The person we dealt with when we returned the vehicle was a jerk. Find another location at a smaller airport if you need to rent a car on a Sunday. Tampa International Airport is not your place!
