About 30 minutes later, I was told I supposedly needed one and was quoted nearly $1,600 because they “didn’t have the parts in store.” The moment I said I couldn’t afford that, the price immediately dropped to around $700 for essentially the same work once the parts arrived. That drastic price change seriously damaged my confidence in the recommendation and made the whole situation feel more like a sales tactic than honest advice. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before approving any major repairs here.
