A bit off the beaten path, tucked in at the end of a seldom-traveled street in Northwest Tallahassee, but well worth the trip if you can't find an item in their other stores. Shout-out to Brett & Yasir for their great help and expertise.
- AEArnel EngerJan 16, 20261.0They are getting really really really really really bad about not pulling parts each one claims the other one is supposed to pull aparts and the parts don't get pulled we end up standing in there for 45 minutes to an hour waiting on our parts to be pulled these people need some oversight...badly!!!!!! One guy told me all I do is the paperwork and the computer I don't pull parts. The whole time I was in there you never got off his stool

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
