They love to huff and puff and complain anytime they have to do their job,especially the old man Dan and the guy(?) Greg who looks like he just got his makeup done. I literally live in the neighborhood across the street and can see their sign from my driveway, but I will never go back to this store. I returned a 5 gallon bucket with the Advance Auto Logo on the bucket and they tried telling me that I didn't buy it from Advance Auto! It was never even used and the only reason I returned it is because the week after I bought it, Harbor Freight was giving out free 5 gallon buckets!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
