  Mike - was professional and helpful. His team quickly diagnosed the issue with the tires and suggested a solution. He was fast to respond to my questions and always polite. If you have any issues with your tires or brakes, Mavis Tire in ST Petersburg, will save you a lot of time and headaches. Knowing Mike, or someone else from the staff, will treat you right.

  Mike was the technical who took care of me and was very professional n took his time to look at a problem. After his careful inspection he confirmed that it was not a nail but a pebble/rock lodge in. He commented “better safe than sorry”. He didn’t charge anything and I want to thank you Mavis (4001 4th St) for your assistance and excellent customer service. Definitely will come back for any auto service. Well done.

  I brought my vehicle to Mavis Tires on 4001 4th Street n St Petersburg FL at roughly 9:30 am on 5/18/26 for a simple oil change before leaving for vacation. I’ve owned this vehicle since it's had 7 miles on it and have never had a single issue opening the hood. I usually do my own oil changes, but due to time constraints I decided to trust this location with the service. Immediately after leaving( roughly 30 min to 45 min later), I discovered my hood would no longer open properly, there was no tension on the pull lever whatsoever. I returned right away and informed the staff, only to be told that I somehow caused the damage myself. They mentioned they had a new employee in training at the time, but regardless of experience level, customers should not be left responsible for damage that occurs during service. The manager stated they reviewed the cameras but “couldn’t tell” whether anyone broke the hood release mechanism, yet they still denied all responsibility and offered no help toward resolving the issue. Mistakes can happen anywhere, and I understand that. The disappointing part was the complete lack of accountability and customer service afterward. I came in for a routine oil change and left with a damaged hood release and no resolution. I will be contacting the better Business bureau. And if that doesn't resolve the issue I will be contacting our attorney.

  I found a nail in my tire this morning - the 2nd in the last 3 months! I was feeling frustrated and defeated. After prior positive experiences with Mavis, I showed up with no appointment hoping they could fit me in on a Sunday. Mike greeted me with a smile. He was incredible and truly went above and beyond to provide yet another positive experience with Mavis! He was kind, friendly, empathetic to my situation and knowledgeable when laying out my options. He got my tire fixed in no time and now I can enjoy my weekend with this behind me. Mavis, hire more people like Mike! He’s a gem. Thank you, Mike! I appreciate you!

  Mike and his colleagues at the 4001 4th Street North location in St. Petersburgh are amazing. My appointmentment was ahead of schedule. Mike and his crew are professional, knowledgeable, and customer friendly. I will comtinue to bring my car here. And, I highly recommend anyone else who reads this to do so.
