  This place is definitely customer service friendly. The took me in with no appointment and even gave me a great deal on the service, wait time was minimal. Got me back on the road. Definitely worth trying before going to pep boys or tires plus.

  Shoutout to Nathan for helping with our brakes last visit, and shoutout to Andrew for helping us with our flat tire this visit. Scheduling an appointment online is super easy and their hours are super flexible! Great service both times!! & got the car back same day both times. Much appreciated 🙏🏽

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes thanks to Han Reee. I came in thinking my starter had gone bad, but after doing a thorough assessment, Han discovered it was actually just a battery connection issue. I really appreciated his honesty and attention to detail—it saved me from paying for an unnecessary repair. Han kept me informed throughout the entire process, was communicative, and never tried to upsell me. Since my car has over 120,000 miles, I asked if there was anything else I should be concerned about. He gave me an honest assessment and only recommended tires and a fuel system cleaning, without trying to sell me services I didn’t need. As a mom with a baby, having a safe and reliable vehicle is incredibly important to me. Han understood that and made sure my car was safe to drive before I left. It’s refreshing to find someone who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and genuinely cares about their customers. I highly recommend asking for Han if you visit this Mavis location!

  I can’t say enough good things about the team at the Mavis on 34th Street South in St. Petersburg. Nate and Andrew provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. Nate took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and worked with me to find the best solution at the best price. I never felt pressured—just genuinely cared for. Andrew also stepped in to make sure I understood everything and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with the repairs. Their professionalism, kindness, honesty, and patience made what could have been a stressful situation so much easier. It’s rare to find people who truly care about their customers the way they do. Because of experiences like this, Mavis is the only place I trust with my vehicle. Thank you, Nate and Andrew, for treating me with such respect and taking such great care of me. You both deserve to be recognized for providing exceptional customer service! 100 ⭐️!

  Their website requests that you make an appointment for an oil change. I made a 10 AM appointment, arrived at 9:50 AM. My car sat for over an hour before it was moved into a service bay at 11:05AM. Once in the service bay, the Tech originally assigned to complete the oil change was reassigned to the front desk. The first Tech had placed the lift on the frame of the car, the new Tech did not like this placement and instead wanted to place the lift on the "pinch" points. All this took another 10+ mins. Once the car was lifted the 2nd Tech completed the oil change. I checked out at 12:03 PM. I realize these shops are busy but to have a scheduled appointment result in a 2 hour oil change job was a bit extreme.
