  The process of having my windshield replaced was very easy was scheduled through my insurance company. Safelite followed up with text and emails to keep me apprised of when the technician was coming. I cannot say enough about how courteous And professional the technician was.

  My experience with Safelite was atrocious! I came in with a little tiny ding in my windshield. They took my car in as I waited in the waiting area and a woman came out and said to me oh your windshield is all cracked! We have to replace the whole windshield. I was totally shocked. She then told me that sometimes when they go to fix those little tiny pings, it can crack the whole windshield. BUT MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT WAS, I WAS NEVER EVER TOLD THAT THAT COULD HAPPEN, AND IT DID HAPPEN! I would never recommend them to anybody at all!! I think that is something that they should wise up about and make sure that that they need dto notify a customer that your Carelessness may end up being a full windshield replacement!!   We booked the appt online and had a window of 1-6 for the tech to be there. Money was deducted from my grandsons account immediately. No communication all day so started calling a little after 5 just to verify we were still scheduled. All lines straight to voice mail. Finally after 6:15 decided to do the chat. After a back and forth TEXT CHAT we found out the glass had come in damaged but no communication to let us know. Today I finally talked to a LIVE PERSON at Safelite and she was able to get me in contact with a LIVE PERSON in the St Augustine location. She said she usually contacts the customer but she did not receive notification from anyone that the windshield replacement came in damaged. So how did Safelite know on their end at 6:30??? She said she would cancel the order and process the refund. I called back and asked for an email confirmation that the order was canceled but I still haven't received the email. Will keep checking to make sure the refund is processed. I definitely do not recommend this location and Safelite has really gone downhill since everything is done online and it is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO SPEAK TO A LIVE PERSON.

  Dwayne is the best! They didn’t have any house calls available so I had to bring my car in. They said 1.5-2 hours bc of recalibrating my 360 cams. They got it done in under an hour, he explained everything to me and what to expect and even careful removed and replaced my sunpass sticker! Dwayne you are so kind and wonderful thank you so so much!! Also the receptionist was also very kind that was nice also :)

  The technician was inexperienced. It took him seven tries to take my door completely apart and put it back together before he got it right and everything operated correctly. I was then charged $39.99 for a recycling fee when nothing was removed from my property, the broken window, the tape he used and the paper towel he used to clean. It was all put in my trash can. So I am patiently waiting for Safelite to return that fee. I wrote a separate check for it and wrote on the check that it was under dispute.
