  Absolutely fantastic membership wash. I’ve been to washes all over the USA. This place is outstanding they even have (free) automatic mat cleaners. Staff is knowledgeable and cheerful….highly recommended

  ⭐ **Very Disappointed – Damage to My Brand-New Truck & Poor Customer Service** I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Tommy’s Express Car Wash on Fruitville Road in Sarasota. I bought my brand-new truck in May 2026. Only about two weeks later, after using this car wash, I noticed significant stripes/scratch marks on the door. I immediately spoke with a manager. They apologized and polished the marks out. I appreciated how they handled it at the time. Unfortunately, it happened again recently—this time on the right side of my truck, and the marks appeared deeper. I reported the damage immediately. The employee in charge came outside, took pictures of the marks, photographed my VIN and other information, and told me everything would be sent to the manager. I was told I would receive a call the next day. **Three days passed. No call.** I drove back to the location and was again promised that the manager would be contacted. **Two more days passed. Still no call.** When I finally spoke with the manager, instead of seriously investigating my concern, he basically dismissed the possibility that the car wash caused the marks and suggested they could simply be removed by rubbing them with his fingers. What bothered me most was his attitude. This is a brand-new truck. I wasn't expecting an argument—I expected someone to take the concern seriously, inspect the damage properly, communicate with me, and try to find a reasonable solution. I also find it concerning that the first time I experienced similar marks, the location apologized and polished them out, but the second time I was essentially told it wasn't their responsibility. I have since heard similar complaints from other people about scratches or marks after using automatic car washes, including a friend who told me he eventually had extensive paintwork done after repeated damage to his vehicle. After this experience, I have decided to **cancel my Tommy’s membership**. Accidents and problems can happen at any business. What really determines whether I continue doing business with a company is **how they handle the problem afterward**. Having to repeatedly return to the location just to get a response, followed by the dismissive way my concern was handled, lost me as a customer. I cannot recommend this location to anyone who is particular about keeping their vehicle's paint in excellent condition. **Very disappointing experience, especially after being a paying member.**

  🚨DO NOT SIGN UP TO THIS LOCATION🚨 I have not received any follow up from manager nor have I received a refund. What I did received is an email saying subscription was going to be unpaused even tho it was cancelled. This how they rip people off by unpausing app and not giving a refund?? Very disappointed with Tommy’s Car Wash and their customer service.

  I pay monthly for you guys, but everyone I come to your locations, I pull up to a vacuum and it doesn’t work or the suction is horrible, go to the next same thing, I was there today, it took 4 different vacuums before I found one that worked. But only one side actually had suction, so I had to turn around and back in for the other side of my truck to get vacuumed. Just asking, please make sure they are working, it is very frustrating when you pay for something and it doesn’t work.
