  Rented a 17’ deck boat for a half day. Wonderful experience, from check-in to orientation to the boat itself. Nice clean boat with wonderful 90 horse Yamaha engine. Does everything it should in the intercoastal waterway. I live in Sarasota and research rental rates extensively, this is by far the best value in a rental experience. Everything is right there when you leave leave and return. The location is about a one hour cruise to Venice and about a 45 minute cruise to Lido Key. Lots of places to stop for a quick pit stop or a meal.

  Was our first visit and Jasmin did not let us down. Hogfish blackened with daily potatoe (mashed) and lobster gravy with black beans and rice. Big portions for all. Mom had shrimp tacos that she couldn't eat all of, but she enjoyed. Lots of shrimp with grits and a pulled pork sandwich went fast. Great food.

  What a fun adventure we had! My husband and I visited Siesta Key for our 25th wedding anniversary. Kyle with Safe Harbor was phenomenal from start to finish. He gave us a lot of good recommendations of areas to explore as well as many restaurants to to visit while we were out and about on the boat. We cannot say enough about our experience. My husband and I both felt like we were in good hands, and treated very well. Safe Harbor will definitely be on the list of places we visit on our next trip to Siesta Key.

  First the good. The staff was attentive. The boat was ready and we were able to get going early. They were also there on our return to meet us get the boat fueled up expeditiously and get us on our way. It was very much appreciated on a 95° day. Now for the bad part. The tri-toon we rented has seen better days. There were many tears in the upholstery that were just Band-Aided over or just left with foam exposed. Some of the cushions had mold and mildew that could have been cleaned off. None of the electrical systems on the boat besides the necessary Coast Guard mandated items worked. This included the automatic mini top raising and lowering that is a really big factor if you want to go south past the Blackburn turntable. There was no way to manually lower it that we could figure out. Thankfully, the folks operating the turntable allowed us passage without giving us any grief, despite the fact that we had a pontoon boat. The speaker system on the boat was inop. There was no onboard cooler we had to rent one. Mechanically, the boat ran fine and everybody had a great time, but the little things mentioned above were definitely noticed. I think it’s time to refresh the fleet!

  Rented from Safe Harbor a few times before. Great, friendly staff and great service. Very easy in and out process. Boat ran perfectly and we really enjoyed our day. Website and booking process was smooth and efficient. Price was less than the neighboring rental place which is why I chose them.
