  Excellent experience with this National location! As an Emerald Aisle frequent renter, I was apprehensive about my first visit to SRQ knowing I’d have to stop at the counter. However the staff and friendly fast service quickly put me at ease. I was out the door and in my car in seconds. The counter is the first one next to the exit where the cars are literally just steps away. Retuning the car was even easier. The agent met us outside the airport door and checked the car in less than one minute. My receipt was emailed to me before I got my luggage out. Outstanding customer service and another seamless experience as I’ve come to expect from National Car Rental.

  I would leave 0 stars if I could. I dropped off a vehicle at SRQ after picking it up and driving it from Tampa airport. They added a fraudulent $75 replacement equipment charge to my invoice and now won't answer the phone despite trying many times over the past hour. I called the national call center and they advised that if they had a reason to add that they should call before adding it. No call was made to me and no reason for the charge was on the system visible to the representative. Therefore it appears to be either a scam or an accident. Regardless, simply answering the phone could clear this up.
