    The cars all had keys in them and they would point you at the car to take. They pointed me at the car, which someone was already in, that was the last premium car. I went back in and they then grabbed keys out of a drawer, and put me in a little Cadillac SUV, it got me where I needed to go, but it was all dinged up, my phone couldn’t connect to it appropriately, and the GPS on the car wouldn’t work, so my phone was dead by the time I got to the hotel, and the remainder of the trip was hit or Miss as to whether or not my phone would sync. Returning the car was very easy, and the man who received it had a smile on his face and was very nice.

    The absolute worst rental car company / location. Let me start by saying I walked in and asked if they had any cars available and they said no. I then walked out and called the general line to national and they got me a reservation made. I walked back in and told them I had a reservation, which then I was walked out and given my choice to 5+ cars that were available… even though 10 minutes prior they told me they had nothing. Then from here it was downhill. I picked up the vehicle because I travelled down from savannah and my car landed in the shop. I had to drive the vehicle back up to Savannah for work where I’m a firefighter, and was due to bring the car back April 20th after I picked it up April 18th, which the total would be $200. Well my vehicle wasn’t ready so I had to extend it to the 23rd, in which they said it would be another $200, and now I am at the week long rate so if I needed it for the full 7 days I could without added on charge, according to the representative who I talked to on the phone. On the 23rd evening I got word on being deployed to the South Georgia wildfires for a week long deployment. My mom said she’d drive my car from the shop in Sanford up to Savannah, then drive the rental car back to Sanford from Savannah to get it back on time. I called the location and told them it would be the 24th, due to the reasons. At drop off, the proceeded to charge me $700, knowing my situation, and apparently without any recollection of anything, even though I had multiple calls with the location and the main line. They wouldn’t budge on anything, and screwed me over in a way no company should, especially in a time of need. So thank you national for being the absolute worst rental car company around. I cannot wait to bring this up anytime somebody asks where to rent a car from, so I can ensure they don’t come here. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.

    I paid for an SUV and when we arrived at 2 a.m. we received a sedan. My mom needs a wheelchair and we explained that to the employee in the parking lot and he said “ those are your options” We took and then I tried to call and figure something out and I was told they would look into it and call me back and they NEVER called! Can you imagine putting a woman in a wheelchair who can barely bend in a 4 door Toyota sedan!!! Well, they didn’t even think or look and say to themselves “oh maybe this woman might have trouble getting in that car”? No he didn’t and then walked away and said “find one with a key” I will never rent a car from them again!!
