  Alamo was outstanding. The agent that helped us at 1 AM was wonderful, we were able to choose a vehicle that was almost perfect for our needs, the vehicle was clean and easy to operate, and the return agent drove us, both over 80, to the terminal so we would not have to walk and drag our luggage. We had an outstanding experience with Alamo.

  UPDATE: After a horrible rental experience with Alamo, Dan at Orlando/Sanford Alamo greeted us upon return. He was as upset about the way Alamo corporate handled us. He is arranging a refund for half of our rental. Can i ask for better? I think not. I averaged 5 stars with one star for a 3 star. My old review: Worst experience ever renting a car in my 40+ years of renting. The thing that put it over the edge is a slow tire leak which dropped the pressures about 2 pounds per hour. When we discovered it and called at 8 am, they wanted us to drive two hours (one way) back to the airport on our 1 day trip to my nephew's wedding. No spare, no nothing. Long waits for roadside assistance. They finally set us up to pick one from Enterprise 40 minutes away. We arrived there, but they a) had never been contacted and b) had no cars. I can't believe this company is still in business. I have now been waiting 30 minutes in the airport they sent us to to hear what the "escalation" can do to get us to the wedding in 1 hour and 30 minutes. We never heard from them. In response to the owner's comment, we have called and talked to the service people a total of 4 times and were promised a call from management to try to get us taken care of. We have gotten no calls back nor been taken care of. We are using gas station pumps and can't wait to return this car tomorrow. We'll never rent from Alamo again. Also, we did the early registration with everything signed in so we could pick up our keys and go, but we still had to wait in line 30 minutes.

  We had an incredible experience at the Alamo location in Sanford Airport. From the moment we arrived, Roderick took the lead and made the entire process feel effortless. He was friendly, proactive, and clearly committed to making sure we had a great start to our trip. He even spearheaded the free upgrade, which was an awesome surprise and made a huge difference for us. Mackie, the manager, brought great energy and professionalism, and Jose jumped in with the same level of care and attention. Together, they made sure we were in a clean, comfortable vehicle and fully set for the road. Everything from pickup to the convenient airport drop off was smooth, quick, and stress free. This team stands out for their kindness, enthusiasm, and genuine customer focus. I will be choosing Alamo at Sanford every time I fly into Florida.

  The Alamo at Sanford/Orlando Airport was awesome. We had to extend our rental due to a flight cancelation, and they were very understanding and accommodating. Pick up And Return were a breeze. I always enjoy the way they allow you to pick any car from a specific row. Dan, who did our return, was awesome and was super kind. Loved my experience with Alamo!
