- AVAmber V2 days ago5.0My battery died so I called to confirm they had a battery in stock, Noah confirmed they had many options. When I brought the dead battery in they kindly tested it and confirmed it was allll the way dead! They gave me tips on what to look and listen for in the future, guided me on which battery was the best value, and helped my purchase a battery pack to save my battery when jumping my husbands old car. Noah and a colleague advised me to bring the car back once I put the battery back and they tested everything to ensure it was just the battery. They made an inconvenience easy. Cost was fair.

I wasn't in hurry but in between customers who couldn't find something, a customer who insisted she needed a plug NOW for her tire and the salesman trying to explain why that was dangerous, he grabbed the correct battery, opened the noncooperative fob and took care of four of us in less than 15 minutes. Great service with a smile. Who could ask for anything more?!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
