    Totally frustrated that one of the store employees sold me the wrong battery for my car. Had to return to the store where Elliott one of the store managers went above and beyond to gain my satisfaction. In the end I left with a free battery because he extended my warranty for the old one.

    I walked into this location around 4:00 PM today. My girlfriend came in right behind me. The female Hispanic cashier looked directly at me and said absolutely nothing. She then looked directly at my girlfriend and did the exact same thing. No greeting. No “Hello.” No “Can I help you?” Nothing. At that point, I brushed it off because, as a Black man, I’m careful not to jump to conclusions. People are quick to label us as aggressive or say we’re overreacting, so I chose not to make an issue out of it. As we walked farther into the store, an overweight Hispanic employee with curly hair walked right past us and also said absolutely nothing. Shortly after, a different employee—a skinnier Hispanic guy—walked across the front registers and didn’t acknowledge us either. At that point, we continued into the store to look for the part we came to buy. After spending several minutes walking through multiple aisles and circling the store, another employee near the battery section finished a phone call and asked if we needed help finding anything. He was the first person in the store to acknowledge us or offer assistance. Then came the part that confirmed what we had been experiencing. An older white gentleman, probably in his mid-50s, walked into the store. Almost immediately, he was greeted by the same female cashier who never acknowledged us from the moment we entered until the moment we left. She came out from behind the register, helped him locate the part he needed, brought it to the counter for him, and checked him out. He received the full customer service experience. Meanwhile, she crossed paths with us multiple times and never once acknowledged our presence. No greeting. No offer to help. Nothing. Whether this was intentional or not, the difference in how we were treated compared to the customer who walked in after us was obvious. It made us feel invisible. This wasn’t simply one employee having a bad day. Four employees had opportunities to acknowledge us. Only one eventually did after we had already spent several minutes searching the store on our own. I didn’t say anything while I was there because I wanted to handle this professionally. However, I will not be returning to this location, and I intend to make this experience known to both corporate and the public. No customer should walk into a business and feel ignored while watching someone who entered after them receive immediate, attentive service. If your employees are choosing which customers they acknowledge or help, that’s a serious customer service problem that needs to be addressed.

    Very bad customer service. The young guy was talking to his co-worker about her lunch not really paying much attention to me the customer. I just went in there for anti-freeze which was very over priced. I should have went to wal-mart. It’s cheaper and better customer service. Which is sad.

    I had purchased a battery back in 2025 for my truck. Well needless to say it ended up being bad. I went into the store the associate named Javier Otero was assisting another customer and as soon as he was wrapped up he ask me if he could help me. I explained my situation and he said I will be right back. He came back with a tester and tested the battery as it read bad, he quickly said, did you purchase this from us. I showed my receipt and he verified through the system. No questions ask he got the replacement and proceeded out to my truck and replaced the battery with upmost confidence and quality. He was very polite and his customer service skill set was on point throughout this experience. I appreciated him being prompt and his professionalism while taking care of my truck.
