  I highly recommend Duane’s Dealer Alternative! They diagnosed and fixed an electrical problem in my car that had been difficult to figure out. They were professional, honest, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what was wrong and how they repaired it. I appreciate their expertise.

  I wanted to leave a review about this shop and the great experience. Overall it easy and very transparent. I went in for a simple service, but also left with an inspection that explained my upcoming maintenance needed which included the price for the work. This was much nicer than any service I've had with the dealership for my car. I will return to this shop for my future maintenance. Thanks Duane and team!!!

  I have worked in the automotive industry for just over 20 years. I expect some form of shenanigans, what I received instead was a breath of fresh air. Rick and the entire team at Duane's were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and were able to give me exactly the information I needed to make an informed decision. I can't say enough positive things about this shop, just a pleasure to deal with. I will be directing all of my family and friends in the area to service their vehicles here.

  I am so pleased I received this card in the mail from Duane's. Just at the time I needed work done on my car. Took it to the dealer repair cost 600.00, called Duane's Heather gave me an quote of 350.00 out the door! 250.00 savings! They checked everything out, let me know what I was looking at. I am so grateful for that card arriving when it did! And they make you feel so special, I had a thank you note on the dash, and a little bag on my console with a note pad, pen, and mints! Imagine that! My car drove so smoothly home! Thank you Duane's! And Heather, many thanks to you! You are AWESOME!

  I have been a loyal customer with Duane’s Auto shop for over six years, which is why this most recent experience was so disappointing to me. I recently took my vehicle in for a routine oil change and was told that during the curtesy inspection they discovered that my front control arm bushings were cracked enough to warrant immediate replacement. The quote I received seemed high and when I questioned the service manager the response I received from him felt defensive and dismissive rather than informative. Based on his response I decided to call some other reputable shops in the area to get a quote. The first shop I called gave a quote of almost $500 less than the quote I got from Duane’s. When I reached back out the Duane’s service manager he proceeded to tell me no way, and I needed to take the car into the shop so they could look at it to give me an accurate quote. Made sense to me so I made an appointment, and in the meantime, I was able to get into another shop. When that mechanic examined my car he brought me out to see what he described as “minor surface level cracks” in my bushings normal with aging and advised in his opinion they do not need to be replaced. However, if I want to replace them, he gave me a quote that was in line with the quote I received over the phone (approx. $500 less than Duane’s). I understand that repair recommendations can vary so to be sure I took my car to yet another reputable shop who also showed me the minor cracks with a similar opinion and advised that “if it were his car, he would not replace them”. I feel that I have done my due diligence. This experience has seriously damaged my trust with Duane’s and has left me feeling like unnecessary repairs may have been recommended. I would strongly encourage others to always get a second opinion on major repair estimates. This was a 1-star experience but doesn't completely erase the 6 years of service which is why I gave 3 stars. I will not be returning.
