Excellent staff I rented a Dodge Durango this past week from them and ended up having to keep it for an extra day and the communication was excellent and they rearranged things so that could happen

I was rear ended and my insurance set me up with a rental with Enterprise/Ruskin. The guys in the office were most helpful and got me in a rental right away. Dylan was great at getting my deposit back to me in a timely manner AND they had a pick up service at the collision center so I didn't have to get a ride. ALSO, I was able to leave the rental at the collision center when I picked up my car. Outstanding service!

I am writing to formally escalate a deeply disappointing experience I recently had with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. This is a follow-up regarding my conversation today at approximately 1:07 PM with a representative named Matt concerning my rental reservation from Wednesday, 05/06. My original reservation was scheduled for pickup at 10:00 AM with a return date of Saturday at 10:00 AM. Upon arriving at the location, I was informed that the vehicle I reserved was unavailable because it had allegedly been sent to Mavis Tires the previous day and had not yet returned. I was then told that a similar class vehicle would be available within the hour if I waited. Unfortunately, the replacement vehicle was not ready until approximately 11:45 AM after waiting for the vehicle to return and then be cleaned. This delay significantly disrupted my schedule for a work-related trip. During the rental process, the original agent assisting me acknowledged the inconvenience and specifically informed me that Enterprise would be applying a 30% discount due to the delay and inconvenience. However, according to Matt, only 20% was actually applied. Additionally, before signing the agreement, I was verbally told that I could return the vehicle with the gas tank at half-full because of the issues surrounding the rental; however, I was still charged for gas upon return. The problems only worsened after the rental period ended. For FIVE DAYS, I repeatedly attempted to contact the location to close out my rental agreement and obtain accurate billing information. Despite numerous unanswered calls, I ultimately had to physically send my daughter to the location TWICE over two separate days just to get someone to finalize the agreement. During this time, I also spoke with the customer service department, which informed me that they had escalated the matter to the branch location as well. When I finally received the bill, I was shocked to see that I had been charged $332 instead of the approximately $173 I was originally quoted. I immediately contacted the location and spoke with Matt. During that conversation, I explained that the rental agreement incorrectly reflected a pickup time of around 11:30 AM while still requiring a 10:00 AM return time. I also explained that I had previously called the location at least eight times attempting to have this issue corrected. Matt then stated that “Enterprise tells everyone to return vehicles by 12 PM anyway,” which directly contradicts the written agreement and makes absolutely no sense if the contracted return time remained 10:00 AM, especially considering that 10:00 AM is the time listed online for the branch’s closing. If customers are genuinely allowed until noon, then the agreement should accurately reflect that policy instead of creating circumstances where customers are unfairly charged overage fees. In that case, the return time should have been listed as 11:30 AM. I then requested to speak with a manager and was informed that the manager was “on vacation until tomorrow.” However, during an earlier call, I had been told the manager was simply “busy with a customer.” The conflicting explanations only added to the frustration and gave the impression that management was intentionally unavailable. To summarize, this experience included: My reserved vehicle not being available upon arrival An excessive wait time for a replacement vehicle Receiving a vehicle with cleanliness and maintenance issues, including a broken sun visor/sunscreen component Repeatedly ignored phone calls Being forced to physically visit the branch multiple times just to close my agreement Contradictory explanations from staff Billing discrepancies and unfair overage charges A complete lack of professionalism and accountability Experiences like this are exactly why consumers are losing confidence in Enterprise and developing negative perceptions of the rental car industry as a whole. What should have been a simple business rental turned into an unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming ordeal.

Didn’t have the vehicle that we reserved, due to customers failing to return them on time. While they apologized they put us in a predicament at the last minute for us to have to go to another business to find a rental.

Went to get a rental, I saw scratches on the vehicle and asked if they had them documented and they said yes. I still decided to take pictures, thank god I did because they called me and stated that I damaged the vehicle and I would be liable. I showed them the pictures and they apologized. Second they told me to return the car by 3pm on Saturday and I dropped it off around 1:30pm and they were closed. They called me and said they had to charge me additional days. I explained that I was told to drop the car off before said time. They requested that I call the insurance to have them pay and I said I will not do that. Finally they said they will not charge the additional days. Absolutely ridiculous. And bad business to deal with.
