  While on vacation I made a call to call to the Ruskin Store in search of a tool not really expecting to find one to repair my motorhome. Our call was disconnected accidentally by me and was in the process of of calling another store when my phone rang and Barb said that we have what your looking for and have it in stock. Thanks for taking the time to call me back. The tool was a lifesaver.

  We needed 2 batteries in our GMC 2500. It’s hard to get them out. My husband had his kidney along with a huge cancerous mass removed. Once one of the employees overheard me talking about his condition, every single employee jumped up and helped! They helped him get the old ones out and put the new ones in. Daniel was the MAN! He did all the hard work, and then your other employees got my husband a place to sit, got a fan blowing on him and made sure he was comfortable. We were overwhelmed by the kindness and the genuine concern especially Barb. I wish I knew all the names. I owned a company before, you got a good team there. May God Bless You All! Jim & Kim

  I went into the Ruskin Advance Auto Parts a few weeks ago to get a new car battery. I had the MOST PLEASANT experience I’ve EVER had in an Auto Parts store. Laura, my sales associate, was smiley, kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and caring. I told her the story about us breaking down, and the need for a good battery, and she had so much empathy towards the situation, and making sure that I was taken care of. She’s a GOOD ONE!!! Few and far between. Wish there were more places of business that had people like her. Thanks again for a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!

  Greetings fellow Auto Enthusiasts! I am mobility handicapped and have a difficult time getting around, and lifting things, so when I need parts for my 2011 Toyota truck, I head over to Advance in Ruskin, and look for Laura Padgett who has been incredibly helpful to me with my automotive needs. She has helped me many time with wipers, tested my battery and charged it, saving me the cost of a new battery. She’s very good on the computer, and the other associates regularly come to her with questions , that she can answer without breaking a sweat. I’m even willing to wait if she is helping another customer, because she's very helpful, knows the computer, knows the back room, can be checking someone out, helping someone on the phone, receiving a shipping order helping to guide other employees, all while be calm and collected, and a pleasant smile and cheerful interaction. buying my truck supplies is a great experience again. Can’t say the same for any other employee, or any competing parts chain!!! No matter what I need or spend, I always leave feeling good about my shopping experience, if I can find her working, which seems to be most days!!!   I went to Advance Auto for a Cv axle and Barb was AWESOME SHE helped me out expediously without a problem gave me pointers that I didnt know about my car she was AWESOME AND I appreciate her going far and beyond to help me because before coming inside the store I was very frustrated and she made my life better for as my car and how I was feeling and that means so much to me as a customer....way to go Barb and Advance🎊
