I towed my car here right before a holiday weekend as my usual mechanic was closed. My car was vibrating and misfiring. When they called with the diagnostics they said I needed a new battery, VVT solenoid, fluids flushed, tires, brakes (I was metal to metal) etc all which added up to over $3700. I asked them to just do the battery and I wanted a second opinion on the other work. They charged $555 for just the battery and diagnostic. They didn't even clear the check engine light. That is an outrageous price. I took it to my mechanic and he looked at my car and the list of recommended work and said it was a scam! He said my brakes and tires can wait at least another month or more. My mechanic did not charge me anything for the diagnostics. I will not be back at this Goodyear.
