I went to Mavis for a 5:00 PM appointment to have new tires installed, and I was told the wait would be about 2.5–3 hours. While the wait time wasn’t ideal, I had work to do, papers to grade, etc., so I didn’t mind too much.
What really stood out to me was the exceptional customer service from Dan and Carlos. Initially, I was the only customer waiting, and the TV was playing in the waiting area. After a long day of working with children, I was already overstimulated by noise, so I asked Dan if it would be possible to lower the volume. He was incredibly accommodating and genuinely hospitable about it. It was such a small thing, but his kindness and willingness to make me comfortable really stood out.
Carlos checked me in and was equally wonderful. He walked me through the entire process, made sure I had the information for the mail-in rebate, and even applied additional coupons to help bring my final cost down. He kept me informed throughout the entire process, which I really appreciated.
To top it off, I had something I had written that I needed help proofreading and translating into Spanish. Carlos speaks Spanish, and I don't, and he was kind enough to help me with that as well. 😊
Both Dan and Carlos were easy to communicate with, patient, respectful, and genuinely seemed like good people who wanted to help. At no point did I feel ignored, rushed, or like they were trying to upsell or take advantage of me.
The wait time was definitely yucky, but the service and personal attention I received made up for it. Customer service like this is what makes a difference. I truly appreciate both of them and look forward to working with them again in the future.

Have went to the Riverview location for years great service but more importantly honest. Until today I drop off my wife’s car they call me to leave work because the mechanic couldn’t tell the difference from a locking lugnut and non locking. Because it was a different color he thought it was locking whatever then they call an say I need new wipers ( I replaced them 5 weeks ago ) and to bleed the brakes they did a break job with bleeding the brakes 12 weeks ago when I mentioned that to the salesman he said they changed the brakes but did not bleed them. I went and got my receipt it said they flushed the brakes So either I paid for it 3 months ago and they did not do it or the salesman lied to my face.

Linda was so helpful today! I had a problem with my tire and thankfully it just ended up being something minor. She got me out the door even more quickly than I expected, the price was very reasonable, and she didn't try to upsell me anything extra (that's always a worry being a woman going to an auto shop with an older car). I'll definitely be back for anything else I need!

This Mavis location is truly the best in the game! I had an amazing experience with my vehicle service, thanks to Carlos, Linda, and Jose. My A/C compressor went out, and these guys were able to get the part in and installed same day! Truly great work, truly great team, highly recommend!

They are extremely honest with you and you can trust them 100%. Especially when Toyota dealership told us we needed several things done to are vehicle that would’ve cost us several hundreds of dollars. Mavis that we’ve used before told us no you only need your front brakes done and your spark plugs not until 80,000. Toyota told us we needed our front and back brakes done, new tires, spark plugs, and a key fob battery was all emergency to get done as soon as possible. Buy the way the tires are good. Then we asked also Toyota dealership how much it would cost to install tailgate hinge bushing that we had already purchased the part and was asking them just to install it. Their quote was $189. So Mavis saved us over 300.00 dollars on what was needed between Toyota’s quote and what they charged. Not to mention, they saved us all the money for the nonnecessary things that we would’ve had done. All the staff is very professional and amazing.
