  Horrible Customer Service! Think twice before visiting this tire shop: Mavis Tire located at 10209 Big Bend Rd in Riverview, FL. Stopped in the shop on Monday 5/11 to order three tires and book an appointment. Was informed tires would be in on Tuesday by 12. Received a call on 5/12 saying only one tire arrived and the order/invoice for the other two tires mysteriously disappeared and couldn’t be found. At the time of making appointment I informed Steven, who I met with that I would be using the tire match price program as I found the tire I needed cheaper through a competitor. Steven said it was no problem all I needed to do was bring a printout of tire price from competitor. Well, that was a lie. Went to shop to have tire mounted on rim and Steven told me he couldn’t honor price match. I brought in printout and even showed him online using my phone. He went and spoke to his manager (Caucasian guy with 80’s mullet) twice who then came in the lobby with a rude attitude and didn’t want to hear anything I had to say. I tried to explain to him how I ordered these tires Monday and was promised they would be installed on Tuesday but out of nowhere received a call from Steven saying tires/invoice was lost and he couldn’t find it. Now I’m without my vehicle another two days as the next appointment date for installation wouldn’t be until Thursday due to that’s when tires would arrive. Again manager wanted nothing to do with the issue. He immediately said do you want your tire put back on rim! Customer service at this Mavis was horrible. I’ve bought numerous tires from this shop and never was treated in this manner. Well, one thing is sure now, I WILL NEVER ENTER THIS SHOP AGAIN. Nor will I recommend them to anyone else! Very dissatisfied and disappointed in treatment from manager and Steven. Think twice before you utilize this establishment. Next on agenda is to contact corporate and report this matter.

  Came in today because another shop was less than transparent with its wait time. I was pleasantly surprised when not only did the counter person give me how long it would take but delivered. Service was great and the staff was very friendly. Not to mention the work was done extremely well. Thanks guys and I’ll be back.

  I had a great experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes. I came in with a nail in my tire, and they fixed it quickly and professionally. The staff was friendly, explained everything clearly, and had me back on the road in no time. The whole process was smooth and stress-free. I definitely appreciate the fast service and would come back again for future tire needs.

  As a realtor, I’m on the road constantly, and one of the hazards of the job seems to be picking up nails in my tires more often than I’d like. I had a tight window between clients and needed a quick repair, so I called Mavis Tires & Brakes on Big Bend. Even though they were busy, they squeezed me in and had me back on the road fast. I’m a repeat customer because they consistently take great care of me and make sure I’m driving safely. I use their Goodyear tires, and they’ve been better priced and performed better than the tires I previously bought through the dealership. Outstanding service, reliable products, and a team that truly looks out for their customers keeps me coming back. Thank you for taking care of your local realtor! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  If I could give 10 stars I would. Steve the Manager was absolutely phenomenal with the extensive service needed for my vehicle. I arrived without an appointment and I needed a lot of wheel and brake work done to my vehicle, that didn't pose an issue at all for Steve the manager and his staff to ensure that I was in and promptly out. This continues to be the reason why I remain loyal to this Company and more specifically to this Mavis store on Big Bend. Thank you Steve, thank you to the entire team for your honest and truthful vehicle recommendations. Both my and my wife's vehicles will always have a place with this store for service and we'll continue to be loyal customers ESPECIALLY with Managers like Steve running that shop!!
