  Had them come out to fix a chip in windshield. When filling the chip, they put a 3" horizontal crack in the glass. Took it to their shop for replacement. Broke the windshield while installing, sent me on my way with no ACC, and no auto braking systems working. Dash lit up like a Christmas tree. It took 10 days for them to get an OEM one. Then, the day before my appointment to install that one, they call saying that they can't use the one that came in (the reason is a bit foggy) and they had to order a third "from a dealer", which is what they told me when they ordered the second one. No one in this location seems to a) know what they are doing, and b) gives a damn about what they are doing.

  Horrible 0 stars! Canceled our appointment 3 times because they were to lazy to drive to Venice from Port Charlotte. Lied about the reasons they were canceling my appointment then finally admitted that my windshield wasn't even in stock, but would be the next time(3rd appointment he had made for us) told my husband that system was down and that if we drove to them it would just work out better(my car is not drivable). After the 3rd cancelation I just called the insurance company to find a different repair place all together the "guy" sound super immature on the phone and once realized he was getting his stories confused and that the lies weren't adding up tried to get off the phone quick fast and in a hurry, blaming other people for him being short staffed and someone else being on vacation. Luckily my insurance handled switching the repair company and was able to have a new company come out immediately next day! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR USE SAFELITE TO ANYONE! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, HORRIBLE PEOPLE SKILLS, AND HORRIBLE STAFF IN PORT CHARLOTTE FL!!!!
