  "Thee" Mark is thee terrible manager at this location. I will no longer patronize this location, or Sixt Rental as a whole. Charging a customer for minor damage that was either pre-existing, or done by another customer is frivolous and outrageous. I feel sorry for the agents that has to work under him. They all seem to walk on eggs around him. He's never pleasant when I interact with him, just a phony disposition to get the job done. I'll be initiating further pursuit to get this frivolous claim dismissed.

  ELAINA was great with customer service!! She made this our first successful experience with Sixt. However we did not give the 5th star yet because we have not returned the truck yet. Along with that, we did initially reserve an SUV at one price. When we got there they had nothing but upgrades which were INCREDIBLY expensive. Then somehow they were able to apply a bunch of discounts. But why not just give us the discounted price. Also , why offer the cars as a reservation if there are none of them at the location. We reserved the truck about 20 min before we went to pick it up. So I did not like that. My fiancé’ does not like Sixt because everytime we tried there was a problem and we would end up at enterprise. We thought today would be the same. But after all the headache of pricing and not having what we reserved . ELAINA!!! Got us out the door with a laugh. Very nice woman and the main reason I decided to even write a review. Subject to change if we get up charged when we return.

  HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! I made an online reservation thru the Sixt app, not a 3rd party site, and pre-paid. I received a confirmation email and reservation number. I arrived at the Pompano Beach location early and had to wait until my appointment time to learn there were NO cars in my reserved class available. They tried to upsell me a higher class car for double the price. Then I was told if I purchased over priced add ons maybe they could upgrade me. I left frustrated and was told to wait for a call in a day or so if something might come in. I registered on Hertz and now have a nice EV car that is spectacular on gas for the same price as bait and switch Sixt. Buyer Beware! Don't get lured in by there cheap prices. Go Elsewhere!

  Tried to call this location to make a rental reservation. I had a very specific question about the cars they had on the lot and needed to speak with someone in the office. Their system routed me to an overseas call center, which is fine, but when I asked how to get in touch with this office they told me there was no way to get in touch without driving to the location. Had no problem calling enterprise around the corner and speaking with someone in the office to rent my vehicle though.

  Unreliable! I booked a reservation through their online system without any issues. The website let me select my vehicle, confirm the dates, and complete the reservation, so I assumed everything was set. When I arrived at the location to pick up the car, I was told they did not actually have the vehicle available. The explanation I got was that the system allows you to make a reservation even when the car is not there. My only options were to wait with no clear timeframe or cancel the reservation altogether. This is frustrating because I traveled all the way to their facility based on a confirmed booking, only to find out on arrival that the reservation did not guarantee anything. If the system cannot reflect what is actually available, customers end up wasting time and changing their plans for no reason.
