  So I booked a 3-day rental on booking.com with a cost of $159. When I checked in at the service desk he had me sign all of the coverage declinations, etc. When he went to run my card he did not mention any cost or show me the price, but I looked over the countertop, saw that I was being billed $267. I asked about this and he offered no explanation and said that I would have to talk to a manager since he had already run my card. The manager showed up 5 to 10 minutes later, refunded the $108 to my card without any explanation as to why I was building something different. One can only wonder how many people they are overcharging in this manner

  When I picked up the car at the airport, I picked it up 30 minutes early. The lady at the counter did not adjust, or even ask me, about what time I would be dropping it off in Louisville. She also did not tell me that the amount due had changed since I was was charged 2 days and 1 hour instead of the original 2 days. I was not given a receipt or any sort of paperwork so I did not realize I was charged the extra $69 until I was already on the road and headed to Indiana the next day. Once the mistake was realized, I was told since the car was currently being rented, I could not be refunded the extra charge until the car was returned. The issue being I needed that money for gas to get back to Indiana. After calling the Pensacola customer service number that was on the email from when I picked up the car, I was told customer service could not refund it but they would send a message to the Pensacola Airport rental location... which obviously was not the correct number on the email that they sent me. They also would not give me a number to call the Pensacola Airport location because they said it wasn't allowed After a whole day of me freaking out of not knowing if I would make it back to the rental car place at the Louisville Airport without running out of gas, Blake (Pensacola airport location manager) did give me a call the following day. He also stated it could not be adjusted until it was returned. After explaining to him that I didnt have the gas to get it back, he was able to give me the gas credit so that I didn't have to fill it up or get charged when dropping it off. The original plan was I was going to have to drive it as far as I could get it and then leave it stranded since the extra money was taken out of my account without my knowledge. Thank God for Blake being able to do that. It was a blessing in a situation that wasn't my fault but very well could have messed up a lot of things on my end. Thank The Lord above that my account wasn't also overdrawn from the money being taken out. God sure did have my back that day and Blake definitely was a HUGE part of that for finding the loophole he did. That is the ONLY reason I would ever consider using Alamo again for any type of rental needed.... and I rent vehicles a LOT! Blake certainly saved your butts that day... and mine as well. It was much appreciated!!!

  This company has no moral standards! DO NOT USE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!! they owe me 400 dollars for a car I NEVER EVEN RENTED. They will not send me to a person that will help me and refuse to do anything! This company is a joke. They have ruined my account and the fact you are unable to speak to anyone that can do anything is unacceptable.

  This company has no moral standards! DO NOT USE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!! they owe me 400 dollars for a car I NEVER EVEN RENTED. They will not send me to a person that will help me and refuse to do anything! This company is a joke. They have ruined my account and the fact you are unable to speak to anyone that can do anything is unacceptable. Then they act like they are going to help as the "owner" states in reply below, which is a lie! This just routes me to the same way I've been trying to contact them already. Thieves
