I’ve now been canceled on THREE consecutive times for what should be a routine windshield replacement. Somehow, this company has managed to turn a simple appointment into an ongoing ordeal. First appointment: Technician Yoel installed the brand-new windshield, only to allow it to blow away in the wind. Second appointment: The technician simply never showed up. No text. No call. No explanation. Third appointment: I was given an 8 AM–6 PM service window. After waiting all day and making multiple calls with zero response, the technician finally called at 6:30 PM. And the manager, Jessica? Missing in action. Apparently customer service and accountability are optional here. I’m now heading into my FOURTH appointment for the same windshield replacement. At this point, I’m genuinely curious whether the fourth time will be the charm—or another wasted day. If you value your time, think twice before using this company. A windshield replacement should not require four appointments, endless phone calls, and an extraordinary amount of patience.

Extremely Disappointing Customer Service If you value your time and expect to be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism, I would seriously think twice before coming here. My experience with the front desk was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. The gentleman at the front desk was, without question, one of the rudest and most dismissive people I have dealt with in a customer service environment. My vehicle was actually ready for 1 hour and 15 minutes before I was finally given my car. I personally watched the technician park the vehicle, bring the paperwork to the front desk, and hand it to the gentleman working there. At that point, there was no reason for me to continue waiting. When I asked about my vehicle, I was told that "the camera is being calibrated." However, based on what I had personally witnessed, the vehicle had already been completed and was sitting there ready to be picked up. What makes this even more frustrating is that I was left sitting there for an hour and fifteen minutes for no apparent reason, while the front desk employee had the information and paperwork necessary to get me on my way. Mistakes and delays can happen—that's understandable. What is not acceptable is making a customer wait unnecessarily and then providing an explanation that does not match what is actually happening. My time is valuable, and I expect a business to respect that. The lack of communication, professionalism, and basic courtesy I experienced was extremely disappointing. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because no customer should be treated this way.

My experience with Safelite Repair has been extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Safelite replaced the windshield on my brand-new Infiniti. I selected the company because, as an insurance agency, we trusted its reputation and services. Unfortunately, the aftermarket windshield was installed incorrectly—not once, but twice. Because of these installation errors, my vehicle developed leaks and sustained significant water damage after being exposed to rain. Infiniti has advised me that the improper windshield installation voided my vehicle’s warranty. I am now facing approximately $4,000 in repair costs to address the resulting damage. I have made multiple attempts to contact Safelite Repair, but no one has responded or accepted responsibility. The lack of communication is unacceptable, particularly given the seriousness of the damage and the substantial financial burden their work has caused. I intend to report this matter to the Florida Department of Financial Services. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend that consumers carefully evaluate their options before using this company.

Completely unacceptable service. I scheduled an appointment through GEICO two days in advance for a windshield repair, only to have five hours of my day completely wasted. The technician was scheduled to arrive between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM, but nobody ever showed up—no call, no text, and no update whatsoever. Trying to get answers was just as frustrating, calling their customer service resulted in endless hold times with zero resolution. If you value your time, look elsewhere. GEICO definitely picked the wrong partner for glass repair, and I will be taking my business to a company that actually respects their customers' schedules. 1 star.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Safelite location in Pembroke Pines. The customer service and level of professionalism I experienced at this particular location were completely unacceptable. I arrived at approximately 7:50 AM and was already speaking with an associate when another customer who arrived after me interrupted the conversation. Despite arriving after me, that customer's vehicle was taken care of before mine. When I questioned why this happened and asked to speak with the manager, it took an unreasonable amount of time for the manager to come speak with me. What made the situation significantly worse was the behavior of one of the employees. While I was speaking with the manager, I overheard an employee sarcastically say, “Good luck talking to her,” referring to me. Apparently, the employee thought I could not hear the comment. Later, I overheard the same employee speaking with another member of the shop and referring to me as “going into Karen mode.” I find this extremely disrespectful and inappropriate. I am a paying customer who was trying to address a legitimate concern about the service I was receiving. Employees should be able to remain professional even when a customer raises a complaint. Mocking a customer within earshot because they asked to speak with management is completely unacceptable. I ultimately spoke with the manager and then escalated my concerns to the manager’s supervisor, Jennifer. The fact that I had to escalate the situation this far over something that could have been handled with basic courtesy, communication, and professionalism says a lot about my experience at this location. I understand that businesses can get busy and mistakes happen. My biggest issue is how I was treated when I tried to address the situation. Instead of feeling heard and respected, I overheard employees making sarcastic and insulting comments about me. Based on my experience, I would not recommend the Pembroke Pines Safelite location. There are other Safelite locations available, and I would personally choose another location before ever bringing my vehicle back here. Paying customers deserve to be treated with basic respect, even when they have a complaint.
