  This location does not take care of their vehicles. Upon pick up, our reserved truck was very dirty. (There was an actual dead frog in it) While cleaning it, staff tried to get us in a new rental. That rental truck wouldn’t start. In the process of getting mechanics out there to jump start the truck, the other one was cleaned and we took the original truck. I also reserved a car tow. When leaving the lot, my dad, who was following in a van behind the car tow, realized one of the break lights was out on the left side. He mentioned it to staff before leaving the lot and they got maintenance to fix it. What should’ve been a quick pick-up, because I had this reservation for weeks, turned into an hour plus ordeal and multiple ignored red flags. On the first day of my cross country trip, I noticed the truck was extremely slow. I just figured it was due to the load and towing a car. It felt like the car had a mind of its own with the inconsistency of speed even on straight roads. By the last day of our trip, the truck engine is screaming at 40 miles an hour. We were approaching a much more hilly environment and I no longer felt safe driving this huge truck at a max of 40mph on an 80mph highway. I noticed oil spots sprayed all over the car tow and all over my car. I noticed a spray pattern and caked on oil underneath the truck as well. I called roadside assistance and they sent a maintenance person out. My family and I waited for an hour and a half. Upon inspection, the maintenance person said the turbo that literally boosts the engine was shot and that’s why the truck was having difficulty getting up to and maintaining any speed. It was no longer considered safe to drive and they would have to bring another truck and a crew to help unload and reload our stuff into the new truck. We decided to drive 15min to the closest town and wait for a tow truck to bring another Penske truck and crew members to arrive. We waited for 3 hours. Penske sent only two people (one of which had a cast on one hand) to move our stuff from truck to truck. They quoted it would take two hours. It took 5 hours. A sticker inside drivers side door of the truck said it was maintained on June 8th, 2026. An issue of this extent tells me that’s not true. Overall, I’m going to be missing my window for movers at my new location. I have to book yet another hotel on what was supposed to be our last leg of our trip. If I could recommend zero stars I would. People use these companies with the expectation they can trust the equipment. Thats literally their whole business. I made a mistake. At least, in choosing a Penske truck from this location I did.

  Tayla Vo is amazing! She is the difference for this company here. I would have went with U-Haul if she wasn’t so awesome she was able to get me into a truck that was reliable and did not let me down. If you’re questioning, which truck to go with talk to Tayla and you will undoubtedly, choose Penske. I got an awesome deal on the price too. There is no hidden fees or surprises.

  Worst experience. Gave me the wrong truck and got charged and couldn't use my money back. Go to Uhaul!! Worst customer experience ever!

  Dear owner of local Penske company, I would give 0 rating, but I am immensely disappointed due to the carelessness of one of your drivers obedience to traffic laws — with driver in straight lane, my vehicle in left turning lane, when light turned green the driver decided to make a turn his lane should not have made. Causing me an outcome of anxiety, & being locked out of my vehicle.
