I had a reservation for October 12 for a period of 25 days. Unfortunately, due to a hurricane in Panama City Beach, Florida, my flight was canceled, and I was unable to arrive until October 13. When I arrived to pick up my rental car, I was denied the vehicle without any clear explanation. I contacted customer service, hoping they would resolve the issue. Instead, I was told that management would call me back and that I would definitely be provided with a car. Unfortunately, that promise was never fulfilled. I wasted more than four hours of my time dealing with this situation, only to receive no assistance and no satisfactory explanation. As an Executive Elite member, I expected a much higher level of customer service, professionalism, and support, especially given that my delayed arrival was caused by circumstances beyond my control. The way this situation was handled was completely unacceptable. If this is how you treat your Executive Elite members, I can only imagine how you treat your other customers. I am extremely disappointed with this experience and expect a proper explanation for how this situation was handled, along with an appropriate resolution. Loyalty status should mean something, and customers deserve to be treated with respect.

The rental clerk was efficient and easy to talk with. I had a minor setback and she was very accommodating.

Almost every time i am able to get a car that is nice, smells good, and appears clean and in good working order. Choosing my car from the Emerald Isle is so convenient and then the drop off process is almost always efficient and the workers kind asking if everything was ok. When the Emerald Isle isn’t available, the people at the counter have been very helpful. We had a recent experience like this in Panama City, FL where the person at the counter (her name was Sabina) was so kind and helpful - it made our first experience arriving at our destination so pleasant. Pricing is usually very competitive, only occasionally do i need to access another option where National’s prices are too high. Overall love getting my rental cars here!

The car we rented from national, my wife and I used it for a weekend vacation at fort. Joe beach in florida. Everything worked really well from the time we picked it up at the airport till we returned it. The car was great. Everything worked good would definitely use national going forward. In the future.
