I had an outstanding experience with Enterprise, specifically thanks to Ford and the Branch Manager, who took exceptional care of me from the day I picked up the 15-passenger van until the day I returned it. While traveling to Tennessee, a DEF additive warning appeared on the van. I immediately contacted Enterprise for assistance, but unfortunately the local Tennessee location was closed at the time, so I had to purchase DEF fluid myself from Walmart in order to continue our trip safely. When I returned the van, I shared my concerns and disappointment with Ford and the Branch Manager. They addressed the issue immediately, listened to my concerns, and made sure I was fully reimbursed for the DEF purchase without any hassle. Customer service like this is hard to find. Out of every Enterprise location in Panama City, I highly recommend this one. Ford and the Branch Manager truly care about what they do, and their level of customer service is top tier. They go above and beyond for their customers, and that means a lot. Thank you both for making a stressful situation right and for providing such a positive rental experience. 10/10 I highly recommend. Ask for Ford he’s your guy! The branch manager will greet you at the front desk with a smile! I will rent again! Ford you’re my new Rental Consultant!!!!

This strictly enterprise also refuses to give me a justification why they could not swap a car that has service issues. They told me to go back to the airport, which ended up with the airport giving me no replacement car, enterprise corporate did end up filing a corporate complaint in reference to the airport location, but at the end of the day, it did not solve anything at least for me. So apparently if you have a problem with your rental car enterprise in Juan does not like to swap out cars, even if they have a cord to swap out, they will find a reason why they cannot justify the swap. Ended up getting 1000 points for my next Rental, but I’m not 100% sure I want to rent from enterprise again.

Came here a few times and never had a good experience. They often do not have the vehicles they claim to have and either try to force me to pay for an upgrade or give me a smaller car than I reserved without any credit to my reservation. This may be considered a common practice but it is dishonest and stealing from costumers. One time an employee decided they wanted the car I reserved and left with it right before my reservation pick up time. They tried to make me take a bigger vehicle and tried to charge me for the upgrade. Their excuse that it is a perk for employees to drive cars that are available on the lot. When I reminded them that a reservation means that car is not available and I should not have to pay more money because they want something for free. The employee returned with the vehicle I reserved over an hour later and I had to take a dirty car because they made me late. They also claim to honor military personnel and families but refused to accept military ID as a form of drivers license when there are clear rules and laws about it. My friends and family got tired of bringing our concerns to management when they continued to ignore these issues. We have taken our business elsewhere - 3 strikes and you’re done. I have never heard a good review of this business location anywhere but online reviews which makes me wonder how many of them are fake and made by the horrible and entitled employees that work here.

** Update: After my original review, I was contacted by the manager, Nick. He took the time to listen to my concerns and seemed genuinely disappointed with my experience. I was not expecting a full refund, but he went above and beyond to make things right. He explained that he addressed the situation with his staff and made changes to hopefully prevent this from happening again. While my initial experience was frustrating, I truly appreciate Nick’s professionalism, accountability, and willingness to correct the issue. ** I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience with Enterprise was extremely disappointing, and customer service was definitely not their strong point. The biggest frustration was trying to get anyone on the phone. They rarely actually answer. Instead, the phone gets picked up, you hear a couple buttons being pressed, and then you’re placed on hold indefinitely with no one ever coming back. What makes it even more frustrating is that before being placed on hold, you can actually hear employees in the office laughing and carrying on in the background. At one point, I sat on hold for 20 minutes waiting for someone to come back to the phone. After getting frustrated, I finally hung up and called right back, and someone immediately answered. That experience alone made it very difficult to believe that being “too busy” was the reason calls were not being answered. I would completely understand if they were overwhelmed with a lobby full of customers, but every time I was physically inside the office, there was never a long line or crowd that would explain the lack of communication. Unfortunately, the lack of communication caused additional issues as well. I was renting due to being involved in an accident and had to drop my vehicle off at the body shop for repairs. I attempted to arrange transportation with Enterprise ahead of time, but because I could not get anyone on the phone, I was unable to coordinate a ride to and from my drop off location. When I arrived, I was told rides had to be arranged 24 hours in advance. That would have been completely understandable and something I would have gladly done, had someone actually answered the phone when I called the Friday before my scheduled Monday rental pickup. Because I was unable to reach anyone, I ended up having to pay for Lyft rides just to get between the repair shop and Enterprise, which was an unnecessary expense and inconvenience that could have been avoided with basic communication. My first rental vehicle was also unacceptable. The car had clearly not been properly cleaned or inspected before being rented out. It had less than a quarter tank of gas, had not been cleaned, and there was even a nail in the tire. That is not just inconvenient, it’s concerning because it shows the vehicle was not properly checked before being handed over to a customer. I had to bring it back the very next day and exchange it for another vehicle. On top of that, this location does not offer an after hours drop box, which is extremely inconvenient. Because I wasn’t able to return the vehicle after hours, I was charged for an additional day. Overall, this entire experience was frustrating from beginning to end. A rental company should provide reliable vehicles, communication, and basic customer service, and unfortunately that was not my experience here. Between the poor communication, lack of assistance, additional expenses, and issues with the vehicle itself, I will not rent from this location again and would not recommend them.
