  Have your rock chip evaluated before you let them "repair" the chip. Mine did not take and ended up with a total replacement. Don't let the tech tell you that the repair will disappear and look like a bug stain with time. If you can see the chip still it will start to expand over time, not disappear. It took me over a month to get my situation completely fixed.

  I had always heard Safelite was a good company but got scared off by some not so great reviews. I decided to give them a shot and they exceeded my expectations. The website was user friendly and gave me an accurate quote. Super easy to schedule. The technician Michael who did my repair was awesome. He was super friendly and had a great attitude. He was efficient and did a great job. Overall 10/10 service and I wish I would've replaced my windshield earlier it was that easy. Price was great too! WAY cheaper than I thought . I paid out of pocket and they even offer a payment installment if interested as well.

  I made an appointment for last week for windshield replacement. I went there and they said the windshield didn’t arrive. Nobody called me and let me know. I went there for nothing. They rescheduled the appointment for today. I was a couple minutes late, upon arrival they told me they canceled my appointment since I was 20 minutes late. Needless to say, my windshield didn’t get replaced. Save your time and go somewhere else. Very disappointed with this company.

  Excellent service today by Sam M, assistant store manager, and Chris, repair technician, when I went in for EOM windshield replacement, which was going to cost me $700 and I was told that the non-EOM glass is just as good and has the same warranty. They already ordered EOM but treated me with respect when I changed my mind due to cost. No eye rolls, no sighs, no flinching. Sam told me no problem and no extra cost. Since I was already there, he suggested a repair attempt, and if not successful, no charge to me. The repair was not successful due to the type of compound cracks/divots in the glass. Chris, the repair technician, was professional, honest and courteous and allowed me time to decide next steps. I will be going back in a couple of weeks to have the windshield replaced (nonEOM) and I am looking forward to it because they were so wonderful. I also had a great experience with Andrea R, who came to my home to repair the crack previously. She said in her experience, the type of damage would likely not be able to be repaired satisfactorily. She was 100% correct. These folks here at Palm Harbor Safelite were amazing!

  ⭐️ 1 Star – Extremely Unprofessional and Disorganized This has to be one of the worst Safelite locations I’ve ever dealt with. The Palm Harbor location is completely unprofessional, disorganized, and seems unaware of the corporate rules and procedures they are supposed to follow. I have been to this location five separate times, only to be turned away every single time. That level of repeated failure is unacceptable and shows a lack of competence or basic organization. Customer service is practically nonexistent. There was not a single person who could confidently make any meaningful recommendations. No one appears properly trained, informed, or interested in helping the customer. The handling of time is just as frustrating. I was told they would need my car all day, only to find out they would be working on it whenever they got around to it, in between other vehicles. Expecting customers to surrender their car for an entire day with no clear timeline is unreasonable and disrespectful of people’s time. After multiple wasted trips, poor communication, and zero accountability, I have lost all confidence in this Safelite location. I would strongly recommend avoiding the Palm Harbor office and going elsewhere if you value your time, your vehicle, and basic customer service.
