  So, I had a huge screw and washer stuck in my tire making lots of noise so I decided to stop in on the fly and give this place a try. This is a clean, well kept facility. The front desk assistant was very courteous, friendly, which makes a great first impression, and got me right in so there was no wait time . The service tech was friendly and answered any questions I had thoroughly. There were no "surprises" or hidden fees. I was happy with the price and service I received and will use them again in the future. Well done.

  I rarely leave reviews like this, but my experience with Mavis Tires & Brakes at Bayside Lakes in Palm Bay has left me extremely disappointed and disgusted with the way this situation was handled. My vehicle was originally brought to this location for an oil leak caused by worn gaskets. Other than the oil leak and tires that I already knew needed replacing, my vehicle had no other known mechanical issues. In fact, I had driven approximately 160 miles from South Florida to Palm Bay without any coolant issues or warning lights whatsoever. My car arrived on a Tuesday after closing, so I spoke with the shop Wednesday. I was told they needed to order a part, which would arrive Thursday, and repairs would begin then. On Thursday, I called and was told the part had arrived, someone was working on my vehicle, and it should be ready by the end of the day. I waited and received no update. When I called again, I was simply told they were still working on it. It wasn’t until Friday that I was finally informed that the original part they ordered was wrong and had to be reordered. That should have been communicated to me immediately. Instead, I spent the previous day believing my vehicle was actively being repaired with the correct part. From the beginning, the communication was extremely poor. I do want to acknowledge Jorge, who was helpful and professional, as well as a woman at reception whose name I unfortunately don’t remember. Jorge spoke with my partner and me on Friday, assured us he would try to get everything sorted out, and said he would work on a discount because of the inconvenience. I finally received my vehicle back Saturday afternoon. Before leaving, my partner noticed liquid underneath the vehicle. He checked it because we wanted to make sure it wasn’t oil. We paid and left. After getting home, however, we noticed the vehicle was still leaking fluid, this time pinkish fluid that appeared to be coolant. This was a problem I did not have before Mavis worked on my vehicle. We contacted Mavis and were instructed to bring the car back so they could address the issue. What makes this even more frustrating is that I was then charged approximately $100 to address a problem that appeared immediately after their repair. And even after paying them AGAIN, the issue was not properly resolved. After returning home, my coolant-level warning came on again. At this point, we contacted Mavis again and explained everything. We were told we could take the vehicle to a Mavis or Tire Kingdom closer to where I live rather than driving another 160 miles back to Palm Bay. The experience at the Tire Kingdom location made an already terrible situation worse. An individual there wearing a Mavis uniform had an awful attitude and showed absolutely no concern for what we had already been through. I was essentially told they couldn’t help me and that I needed to take the vehicle back 160 miles to the original location, with little explanation or attempt to assist. My partner then contacted a Mavis closer to home. They explained that they didn’t have a mechanic available to handle the issue, which I could at least understand. We eventually contacted Mavis customer support, explained the entire situation, and were told the matter was being escalated as HIGH PRIORITY. It has now been almost TWO WEEKS, and I have received NO CALL BACK, NO RESOLUTION, NO REIMBURSEMENT, AND NO MEANINGFUL FOLLOW-UP.

  Came through they were able to replace my tire in the nick of time right before closing would highly recommend very great service!!
