    I do not recommend this company at all. After renting a car from them and returning it to the airport employee, everything was fine and no damage or issues were mentioned. The car was in perfect condition when I returned it, and I signed the return documents confirming that everything was okay. About two weeks later, I was surprised to receive a message claiming that the car had damages, even though it was completely fine at the time of return. They then sent me a repair invoice for $850. In my opinion, this is an unprofessional and suspicious practice, especially since no damage was reported during the return inspection at the airport. I strongly advise anyone renting from this company to take detailed photos and videos of the car both at pickup and drop-off, and to keep all documents and signed papers to protect themselves from situations like this.

    Initially, our experience was very frustrating. Once we landed we tried to complete the check in process online through the app as instructed - and it didn’t allow us to select our vehicle we were told a vehicle in our category wasn’t even available. and there seemed to be hidden fees etc. It wasn’t the best customer service experience. However then 30 minutes later we arrived at the check in desk, they had notes of the previous conversations and frustrations and he asked to see the app, and just like that it worked! Our car was suddenly available and it was smooth sailing. There are plenty of reviews that say they were charged extra for damages that were already there, so we just took lots of pictures of any marks and then showed them upon return. It was an overall great experience!

    AVOID!!! Scam company - they add on optional insurances to your rental and tell you that you have to pay - later finding out they are optional - I collected my rental and even said I was on a honeymoon visit - the cold face sales agent at the desk decided to add on upsell insurances and when I queried he insisted I had to pay them to complete the rental - I have spent 13 days trying to get my money back - customer service telephone are not interested - the desk said they would refer to manager…. no response - the WhatsApp chat assistant just resets the conversation - Avoid this firm unless you are willing to have agents scamming you for commission and making it impossible to get your money back

    I called and spoke with a representative at the call center requesting a larger vehicle for the remaining two days of my rental. I was specifically told I would be upgraded to a larger BMW at no additional cost. After driving their vehicle for nearly two weeks, I went to Orlando MCO Terminal C expecting the issue to be resolved. When I arrived, the manager told me the only option available was a Chevy Traverse. I even showed the confirmation for the larger BMW, but the manager was completely unwilling to help or honor what I had been promised over the phone. No effort was made to resolve the situation or provide any reasonable customer service. I ultimately kept the vehicle I already had and left extremely disappointed. This was a horrible customer service experience and a clear disconnect between the offshore call center and the actual rental location. Shame on Sixt for making promises to customers that their local managers refuse to honor.

    1. We rented a vehicle at Sixt Orlando airport. There were some pre-exisiting conditions about the car. We took a thorough inspection and recorded video and photos. Two of the pre-exisiting conditions were filed by Sixt after we returned the car. Sixt sent us the report and a web form for us to provide the response. I uploaded the photos and video, then issues got resolved smoothly by Sixt. No more claimed requested. That's a good process to resolve any disputes. On the other hand, those pre-exisiting conditions shall be well recognized by Sixt before handing the car to us. So it's always better to check your rented vehicle in detail at pick up. 2. At the front desk, we told the Sixt officer to decline the toll transponder program since we ordered Toll Pass already. However, the officer told us that Sixt does not has partnership with the Toll Pass. She explained that even we have the Toll Pass transponder hanging in the car when using the tolled highway, Sixt would still got the invoice anyway, which will cost the customer(i.e. us) at least the admin cost usd 16 + the toll fee(undiscounted). Because the toll would still be charged based on the license plate and bill to the car owner. We were very confused as this was contradictory to our research. As a result we followed her advice and decided to avoid all tolled road in order to avoid being doubled charged. This added some travelling time to our original plan. Unfortunately, we accidentally entered the tolled highway as we were not familiar with the navigation. We finally got the invoice from Sixt for the admin fee and toll fee a few weeks later. This is not a complaint to Sixt becuase things happened as per what they had warned us. However, this is important to someone who plan to use Toll Pass while renting a car from Sixt.
