After some Google searches for reputable auto repair near campus, Goodfellos was a top recommendation. After working with them to get issues diagnosed and car repaired (transmission replaced), I can confirm they have earned their 5-star rating. Every aspect of service was excellent, from taking time to work with me to document the issues, to walking through the estimate and repairs, to expediting the repairs. Their team was very friendly and courteous and kept me informed throughout the process/repairs. Their pricing was great as well. I needed the car towed but to tow it to my home an hour away was too expensive. So I checked Google to see if there were any good shops nearby. Goodfellos stood out because the reviews were excellent so I decided to drop the car off Sunday night at their shop. All I can say was that the experience was very very good. I’m 62 and from New York City and have had bad experiences with mechanic shops. I first spoke to Andrew and he assured me that they would check out my son’s car and get back to me on a quote. The lead technician got back to me in a very timely manner. They even gave my son a student discount. They had the car fixed before the end of the day and my son picked it up on Tuesday. I would definitely recommend the shop to anyone who needs a good mechanic who’s reasonable in their prices. If I didn’t live an hour away, I would use them.
