I rented a car from this location after booking a luxury/premium vehicle. The location even called me to confirm my reservation. What I don’t understand is why a rental company would call to confirm a reservation without first making sure the vehicle class that was booked was actually available.
When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, I was forced to wait approximately an hour while the location attempted to get a car from another location. Despite having specifically booked a luxury/premium vehicle, I was ultimately given a basic Toyota Corolla the most basic vehicle possible and nowhere near the class I had reserved.
I was told that if a luxury vehicle became available, they would contact me and arrange a swap. The following day, I called and was told to come in for a swap. However, just two minutes later, I received another call telling me that the vehicle had been “saved” for someone else who, coincidentally, had called immediately after me requesting the same type of swap.
The following day, I called again and was told to contact other locations myself to try to find a vehicle. Frankly, that should have been the responsibility of the rental company. I had already made a reservation for a specific vehicle class, and I should not have had to spend my time calling multiple locations to find the vehicle I had originally booked.
I also repeatedly tried calling the location back, but no one would answer. It wasn't until approximately 5:50 p.m. just 10 minutes before closing that someone finally picked up the phone.
At that point, I was completely fed up and decided to return the vehicle early. The most disappointing part was that when I returned the car, the two gentlemen who had helped me on the first day showed absolutely no concern that I was returning the vehicle early because of the poor service and failure to provide the vehicle I had reserved. There was no attempt to apologize, resolve the situation, or make things right.
To make matters even worse, when I returned the car, there were two luxury vehicles sitting on the lot.
This entire experience was extremely frustrating and completely unacceptable. I understand that vehicle availability can sometimes change, but the lack of communication, effort, and customer service was the real problem. I should not have had to chase down multiple locations or repeatedly call just to receive the service I had already reserved and paid for.
At this point, I am more than happy to return the vehicle and take my business elsewhere. After this experience, I will never rent from Enterprise again. The customer service was disappointing from beginning to end, and I would not recommend this location to anyone expecting to receive the vehicle class they reserved or to be treated like a valued customer.
We had a wonderful experience with Enterprise at 5542 L B McLeod Rd in Orlando!
We arrived right at 9:00 AM and were the first customers. We only waited about 5 minutes before a very nice and helpful gentleman helped us with our van. The van was in good condition, and from the time we arrived until we were on our way was only about 20 minutes!
Returning the van was just as easy. We arrived at 9:00 AM again and were the first ones there, and the process was even faster this time.
We were very happy with the entire experience. Everything was quick, easy, and professional, and the staff was very friendly. We really appreciate the excellent service and would definitely use this Enterprise location again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is very poor Dishonest cooperation. They goals is how to maximized their profits no matter what they do. I been asked to buy their additional car ensure again even they know I have my own insurance thar can coverage my car rental. They won't rental you the car you like if they don't want give to you may be they will keeping them for the people they know but not you, but they of course will not say that but told you thses cars are all booked not available today! You can come back later to check. Man, unbelievable!
They also never refunded my security deposit after I returned the rental car until later I checked my bank account. I had to call them requested to refund it!
I think I will never got my money back if I didn't check my bank statement.
Be careful about doing business with this company!!!!

Dealing with a traumatic brain injury following a car accident (and deemed safe to drive by neurologists). The manager, Nate, told me I had to physically come into the location to renew the rental because they had to inspect the car and draw up new paperwork. I came into the store. They happily processed my payment. No one looked at the car. No one drew up the new paperwork.
The manager, Nate, is now telling me I still have to come into the location AGAIN and deal with this issue in person -- RATHER than take responsibility of his staff not properly processing the renewal process. This is an unnecessary conflict inflicted by someone trying to assert authority rather than practice basically accountability of his team.
No "favors" have been requested or granted here. I've used up my 30-day insurance rental feature and I'm now paying out-of-pocket at least for the insurance rate, which is Enterprise's policy -- not this direct store or manager.
Your staff did not do their job. That should not be my conflict to manage. Clean it up on your side.
Should have been resolved easily with: "I'm sorry my team didn't process the paperwork when you came in. I'll take care of that on my side. Sorry for the inconvenience."
Not difficult.

I will never rent a vehicle from this Enterprise again, and I want to warn others about my experience.
When I picked up my rental at the Kirkman location, I drove a short distance and stopped at a nearby store. As I walked around to the passenger side, I noticed damage on the vehicle that I had not seen when it was handed over to me. I was upset and immediately called the employee who had assisted me with the rental. He told me he was already aware of the damage. I specifically asked him to make sure it was documented because I did not want to be held responsible when I returned the vehicle. He assured me there would not be any issues.
I wanted the vehicle exchanged, but because it was a holiday, they told me there were no other vehicles available. Trusting the employee’s assurance, I kept the rental.
When I returned the vehicle, the same employee completed the return. He walked around the vehicle, inspected it thoroughly, and confirmed that there was no new damage beyond what was already on the car when I received it. He told me everything was fine, and the vehicle was even being prepared for another customer that same day.
Five days later, I received an email claiming that I had damaged the vehicle and owed nearly $3,000. I did not hit anything or cause any damage to that vehicle. It is extremely frustrating to be accused of something I did not do after being assured at both pickup and return that everything was documented and in order.
This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a rental car company. My advice to anyone renting from this location is to thoroughly inspect the vehicle before leaving the lot, take clear photos and videos of every side of the car, and do not accept a vehicle with existing damage unless you have written confirmation that it has been documented. Based on my experience, I would not recommend renting from this location.
