Extremely Poor Service – Very Disappointing Experience I went to AutoZone for a warranty battery replacement, and what should have been a simple job turned into a major problem. I drove my car to the store with no issues. During installation, the employee initially installed the battery on the wrong side, connected the black cable incorrectly, and appeared to struggle with the installation and battery cover. After the installation, my car would not start and had no electrical power at all. Instead of investigating the issue, he simply said it might be a problem with my vehicle and walked away. I later also discovered that the battery securing rod/bracket had not been reinstalled. Because it was late Friday evening, I had to tow. The next morning, a mechanic diagnosed the car and found a blown fuse. Both the mechanic and dealership indicated it was likely caused during the battery installation due to improper procedures . I drove into AutoZone with a working vehicle and left with a disabled one, plus a towing unnecessary hassle. The lack of proper installation, attention to detail, and accountability was extremely disappointing.
