Very convenient and drop off location at Disney that’s a plus and free rides

Sharing a review we emailed to a manager: we returned a vehicle about 90 seconds after the location's close on Monday, June 22. In the past, we've been offered a complementary shuttle ride to somewhere else on Disney property and so I was hoping for that again this time. Because we cut it so close to closing, I expected that we just missed the window and would have to leave the keys. I wish I knew the gentleman's name who was closing this day because he saw us pull up and could have totally ignored us as the location was closed (even if only by 1 minute or so); instead, he asked if we needed to go somewhere and did offer to drop us off at Epcot. This saved us the Lyft cost and was quick, efficient, and majorly appreciated. I am loyal to Alamo and especially this location for this reason. Excellent service!

Alamo customer service instructed us to visit this location after confirming there was inventory available to swap out a vehicle that had been provided to us with bald tires. We were placed on hold while they verified and assured us we would be accommodated with at least an upgrade if the same class was not available. When we arrived, the manager told us there were zero vehicles available and directed us to return to the airport location instead. This did not match what we observed on-site. While we were standing there, multiple customers were actively checking in and being given their choice of vehicles directly from the lot, including specific models they requested, despite being told no vehicles were available. The clear inconsistency between what customer service confirmed, what the location stated, and what was visibly being done for other customers was extremely frustrating and misleading. We would not recommend renting with Alamo (or Thrifty) when visiting Orlando.
Picking up the vehicle was easy, dropping it off was easy, and the vehicle we had was great.

We arrived about midnight for our cars rental, they only had 2 employees working the desk. Which also covered the other car agencies. So over 50 people in line. But the worst was a additional $120 charge mandatory that we received notice about that morning. So less then the 24 hours cancelations time window. Unfortunately, so we couldn't even change this reservation. This charge was never explained and when we made our reservation they told us the final cost then. We even inquire if that was the total cost. I will not use Alamo again.😔
