Unfortunately their computer system was messed up - so DeMouis and Travis called the store manager Adam who came in on his day off (a holiday as well) to help get it all situated. Soon after DeMouis had my warranty battery changed out and I was on my way. Appreciate all the effort they made and Adam coming in to get it fixed on his day off. Great customer service. I accidentally left a review for the colonial location and while I’m sure they are great too, this location on Michigan by fern creek really went above and beyond.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
