  Awful Customer Service! I had an extremely disappointing experience with Advance Auto Parts, specifically with the store manager, Rafael. I ordered an oil filter online that was advertised as available for pickup the next day. When I arrived, I was told it hadn't come in and to return the following day. On my second trip, I was told they didn't know what was going on with my order. On the third day, I finally received a phone call informing me that the oil filter was discontinued and no longer available. I was also told that I would have to physically return to the store to receive my refund, even though the problem was entirely on their end. During that same phone call, I specifically asked, "Instead of a refund, can you just give me an equivalent oil filter?" I was told YES. Based on that assurance, I made my third trip to the store. Unfortunately, when I arrived, store manager Rafael refused to honor what I had been told over the phone. Rather than apologizing or making any effort to resolve the situation, he essentially blamed me for ordering a discontinued part....even though Advance Auto Parts' own website advertised it as available for next-day pickup. He claimed he had no control over the situation and refused to provide the equivalent replacement I had already been promised. Three trips to the store, wasted fuel, wasted time, and still no oil filter. What frustrates me most is not that the part was discontinued. Mistakes happen. It's how those mistakes are handled that separates good management from poor management. This entire situation could have been resolved over a difference of just a few dollars. Instead of standing behind what his employee had promised and taking care of a customer who had already been inconvenienced multiple times, Rafael chose to shift the blame onto me. A good manager looks for solutions, not excuses. Advance Auto Parts needs to take a serious look at how customer service is being handled at this location. Customers should not have to make three trips, waste their time and fuel, and then be treated as though they are responsible for the company's inventory problems. Extremely disappointing experience and an even more disappointing example of management.

  Terrible service at this location. They found every excuse in the book to not honor a battery warranty. After multiple visits, had to get the battery tested at a different location in order to prove it was defective.

  When I tell you I haven’t been in an establishment that truly made me feel safe, comfortable and gave me the best service in a long time!! I am truly grateful for everyone at this store. I came in searching for answers for my car battery and found out through their diagnosis that it was unfortunately my alternator. The team set me up with a mechanic and got me the correct parts and offered me great service while I had to wait for the work to be done on my vehicle. I even offered to work for them because of being so appreciative. I thank you East Colonial Team seriously

  I had the pleasure of working with Josh who had amazing customer service and did a great job with my battery replacement. It was a smooth process overall. I’d highly recommend coming to this location for auto parts. UPDATE - I had the pleasure of working with the store manager Cassie and an employee named Joe this morning when picking up oil and a car filter for a much needed oil change. Cassie is extremely knowledgeable, and has a great deal of integrity as do the rest of the staff at this location. I live in Northern Central Florida now and would literally prefer going out of my way to go to this location in east Orlando when in need of anything for my car. Thanks again Cassie, you and your team are truly great! I reiterate my previous point in my original review, 10/10 would recommend coming to this location for any of your car needs that the shop offers.
