  Sales person Kelly, was very rude about the size of the shower we needed to fit our family. She rushed us and even yelled at my mother and I to " get back in the golfcart!" So she could rush us off the lot. We looked at a total of 3 camper and it took about 10 minutes. Not because we didnt want to take more time, but because Kelly was rushing us out. When talking about my credit score she purposely wrote down a number 40 points LOWER then what I said! Needless to say we will be taking our business to the first rv place we visited that day.

  Our experience at General RV was no less than awesome! Ed drove us around showing us what whe had ask to see. Not finding anything we wanted Ed asked if he could show us one more. This ended up being exactly what we wanted! Ed was so patient, kind, knowledgeable and truly cared about what we wanted, not to sell inventory. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for an RV to contact Ed Evans at General RV on Wells road in Orange Park FL. Thank you Ed!!!

  The key to happiness when dealing with this (and unfortunately many other) RV Dealer is to lower your expectations. Our Sales Rep (Kelly) went above and beyond and I would buy from her again. Our finance experience with Scott was equally amazing. But that's where it ends. Thankfully we purchased a Brinkley and their customer service has paid for all of the things overlooked by the dealership in prepping our RV (the list was long) by a mobile service technician. We did pay the dealership to install slide out covers (one of their recommendations) and initially they installed wrong. We got Lippert involved to verify that the installation was incorrect and GeneralRV sent techs to our location to mount a second set of rails. Of the three slide out covers installed by GeneralRV, two pooled water and sagged. On the return trip they replaced the material and mounted the second set of rails. One of two no longer pools water/sag but the third is still not correct. We will pay out of pocket for a competent mobile tech to remedy the remaining slide out cover that collects water as GeneralRV has indicated that they will no longer address this issue or refund any money. My advice to anyone buying an RV from any dealer is prior to taking delivery pay out of pocket for an independent mobile tech who is a certified RV inspector to attend the walk through and create a punch list of items to be fixed. And don't be in a hurry to close the deal. We found so many things wrong once we started living in the RV that Brinkley covered the cost to remedy and for that we are thankful. We are two for two with new RV purchases and have encountered dealerships that practice the fine art of "tail light warranty". Once they can no longer see the tail lights of your RV as you pull away you are no longer a priority. The people at the dealership are courteous and friendly because they want to sell RVs. If you are in the market for an RV search on the YouTubes for Liz Amazing. She is a consumer advocate with a proven track record of helping consumers who get swindled by dealers and manufacturers alike. We thankfully don't require Liz's assistance as Brinkley is so super amazing with their customer and tech support. They helped us with things like Firefly programming and module replacement that was missed by the dealership. We live full time in our Brinkley Fifth Wheel and love it. We are grateful to Kelly and Scott because they made the acquisition smooth and were very responsive to our demands. Kelly provided great customer service even after the deal was signed and we owned the RV. She is an absolute treasure. When looking for a mobile tech/inspector, Brinkley recommended that we search rvhelp dot com and we found Devin Pesata at Fixer Upper RV to the be highest rated tech in our zip code (Jacksonville). It's way better to have an on site tech make repairs (you will need them) than to tow your RV to any dealership especially if you are a full timer and you have to work for a living. Our experience has been "over promise and under deliver". As I said initially the key to happiness in RV Land is to lower your expectations with dealerships. But buy from a great company like Brinkley who will more than make up for the seller's shortfalls. Having a solid mobile RV Tech is a must. Oh PS: the two guys from the dealership who came out to remedy the slide out covers were super friendly and just great guys. I realize that everyone makes mistakes but am disappointed that GeneralRV washed their hands of this even after I sent a video of the water pooling after the re-install. Like I said, the key to happiness with dealerships is to lower your expectations.

  Here it is.. our 2026 Thor Four Winds 28Z..! Believe me when I say that after countless hours on-line and visiting several other Dealers in three different States, General RV Center in Orange Park Florida should be your only choice. I've owned and operated automotive service centers myself for 50 years and thought I offered excellent Customer Service, until I walked into General RV Center. Theirs surpasses any efforts given anywhere I've been. Treated like VIP's from the very start. Spacious lounge area with drinks, coffee and snacks while your there. Start with our Salesman, Chuck Woodruff, a very knowledgeable but personable Salesman. Spent hours with us (on his day off) to answer my hundreds of questions. In my opinion, we became more like friends then customers. When possible, ask for Chuck Woodruff. He'll get you the perfect unit every time! Then to Greg Tanner, Business Manager. When we first sat down, my mind was set on going home empty handed. But he didn't just make offers, he made solutions. Several times looking at every angle to fit our budget. Now we own our first Class-C Motorhome thanks to him. The day before we arrived, Kaelyn Grimaldi, the Delivery Coordinator sent us an Email confirming our appointment. When we arrived we were greeted by her. She explained the process and immediately made us feel at ease. Once given our VIP lanyards, we were then introduced to our delivery Walk-Through Specialist, Marshal Sweet. He spent the better part of the day going over every detail of our new motorhome. Nothing was left unanswered. Both he and Kaelyn made us feel like our tags said, VIP's..! Our motorhome was wash, clean and in the Service Bay with a Red Carpet entry ready for delivery. We smiled from the time we walked in until our final goodbyes. Please, shop around other Dealers, but made General RV Center your last stop. You'll leave impressed..! Rick & Cil Stastny Guyton, GA.

  Compre mi segundo Motorhome en General Rv por la cantidad de puntos de venta y servicio, me prometieron que como cliente tendría prioridad de atención. Debo decir que aquí en Jacksonville han sido increíbles desde que llegamos se preocuparon por nosotros, Kenny a hecho un trabajo perfecto ayudándonos en nuestro propio idioma a solucionar algunas pequeñas cosas y en avanzar en solucionar otras con prontitud. Solo esperamos 2 hs mientras todo se hacía en un espacio cómodo y con pequeñas amenidades, donde hasta el gerente se preocupaba que tuviéramos lo necesario. Salimos de ahí felices por la decisión de hacer negocios con ellos.!!!! NOTA: Kenny Dominguez, gracias por todo!!! 🙌
