  Another great service experience with Camping World in OP. Can’t say enough good things about the service team - specifically Dwane who walked me through a safety inspection of our RV hitch (he previously did a great job remediating some old water damage in the overcab). If your rig needs service take it here, you won’t be disappointed.

  I decided I wanted to sell my Travel Trailer. I did a quick online form with Camping World, and one of their consignment people got back to me. I was tentatively offered $22,800 on consignment, pending an inspection. Great. I take my travel trailer and drop it off for an inspection. During the paperwork portion of me dropping it off, I am asked how much is owed. I tell them the amount ($14,600), and finish the paperwork. I was told to expect a phone call by 11am the next morning going over the results of the inspection. The next day comes and goes and I hear nothing. Around 7PM I get an email from the person I was working with saying that the inspection was ready, and to call the next day and talk to his colleague as he is off of work that day. I call right at open, and am told the person I am trying to reach is in a meeting and I will receive a call back shortly. 4 hours pass, nothing. I call back and am told THE EXACT SAME THING. Finally, since I am only a 10 minute drive away, I go in person. The person I was told to contact comes out with a freshly printed inspection report and tells me "I havent had time to go over it yet, but lets go over it together". We do. He advises me of catastrophic roof damage and that the trailer was not eligible for consignment, but they would offer me $14,100 for it (EXACTLY 500 dollars under the amount owed). They showed me a couple of "soft spots" on the roof where there was "massive water intrusion". I tell them to give me my keys and my trailer and I leave. I contact a licensed repair shop and have my roof looked at. The result? Adhesive failure due to heat exposure. 0 rotten wood. 0 water intrusion. 0 damage. a $250 fix. Moral of the story, these dudes are SNAKES. They lie about issues so they can low ball you, make you feel GOOD about paying a small amount out of pocket to "get out of a BAD situation", fix a minor issue, and sell it for 2.5x the lowball amount they gave you. I understand needing to make a profit, but there are ways to do it that aren't shady and scammy.

  Daniel S did a great job and delivered very promise he made. Terry in finance was amazing as well. I would recommend anyone looking for a camper to this location specifically. Thanks again for all yalls help and God Bless.

  JT is the reason we came back and Brian our tech was very informative, patient and thorough, jay the manager was also very accommodating and made sure we got everything asked for, and terry our finance manager was fantastic. JT as a sales representative was very up front about condition of used rigs and was happy to show us anything and everything we asked about. The team put in a late night to make sure we were happy after an unpleasant experience at another location. Would happily refer someone to these guys.
