Overall service once in store is pretty quick even when they are pretty short staffed. I give a 4 star because I called and no one even picked up to let me know to wait for 90 minutes. I had to hang up and just go in store.

Being that Google does not allow responses to owners, I’d like to preface that my husband has already posted a review. My husband, Johnny Montalvo, would like to respond by stating: I want to clarify Enterprise’s response because it gives the impression that I have not already attempted to resolve this directly with the company. Immediately after the incident, my wife contacted Enterprise customer service. They located my reservation, documented what had occurred, and told us that a regional manager would be contacting us. That call never happened. There is another important part of this situation that needs to be addressed. After Mr. Goodman refused to rent the vehicle to me, he specifically told me that I could try renting from the Sanford or DeLand location instead. Based on that information, I paid for an Uber and went to the DeLand Enterprise location. When I arrived, the employees there already knew who I was and informed me that I had been placed on Enterprise’s national Do Not Rent list. That raises a serious question: if I had done something at the Orange City location that warranted being banned from renting from Enterprise nationwide, why did Mr. Goodman tell me to go to another Enterprise location and attempt to rent a vehicle? Since then, I have made multiple calls to Enterprise customer service seeking assistance and an explanation. Despite those calls, I have received no meaningful assistance, and the promised contact from regional management never occurred. So, respectfully, Enterprise already has my contact information, reservation information, and details regarding this incident. My family contacted the company immediately, and I have continued trying to resolve this through the appropriate channels. The conduct I experienced from Mr. Goodman was beyond childish and inappropriate, but what concerns me even more is what happened afterward. A customer should not be told to try another Enterprise location, spend money traveling there, and then discover upon arrival that they have apparently been placed on a nationwide Do Not Rent list. I am still asking Enterprise to explain who authorized that decision, what documented reason was provided for it, when it was entered into the system, and why I was directed to another Enterprise location if I had already been deemed ineligible to rent. At this point, I am not looking for another generic instruction to contact customer service. I have already done that multiple times. I am asking Enterprise regional or corporate management to actually review what occurred and provide a substantive response. ********* Aside from what has previously been stated, I, Lizbeth Montalvo, also had my own negative experience with this individual to an extreme degree. Once my husband arrived home explaining the situation, I immediately called the store to speak with Nick Goodman. I obviously begin asking his reasonings behind the unusual/discomforting behavior, he didn’t have one. Nothing tangible. I firmly continued to ask to please explain what my husband did. I was so confused & at this point, dissatisfied with the interaction. I then asked him for further information on resolving this manner with someone rather than him, he stated he didn’t have provide any of that information and to call corporate. He immediately hung up on me with no notice.

I hate to hang them out to dry, but feel compelled to warn others of the poor customer service throughout my stressful rental experience with them recently. I have used enterprise in Orange city at least yearly since moving to volusia county in 2020. I reserved my rental car (full size SUV) 4 months in advance. My rental dates 7/11/26-7/17/26. I picked up on a Saturday 7/11 at 1pm, they had a Wagoneer ready for us, perfect I thought! The guy who was assisting us informed me, I was unable to use my points because I would have had to use my points when I made the reservations on an app, little ticked off not a big deal my fault for not knowing this. On the drive home, my husband called me to tell me that the SUV kept beeping. I figured it was just maybe a door that wasn't all the way shut. We get home and even after shutting the car off, It kept making noise. Called enterprise in Orange City right away and was told that they closed in two minutes and to call customer service. Which I did. Greeted with someone who could barely speak English, definitely went to another country. Spoke with 6 of them with in a short period of time. They arranged for us to drive to sanford orlando airport to exchange vehicle. We drove all the way out there to be greeted by another nasty manager name pearson, who informed us, He doesn't care what customer service said that he's the manager and he has the say where the cars go. He also told me he had 10 and they were all reserved. So I drive back home and call customer service again. I tell them i'm not driving anywhere else, and they need to send a tow.Truck with a new car and pick this one up. They told me no problem, except I talked 4 tow truck drivers who all had different addresses that were not my address. Each one was being sent back to the orange city location that was closed. I spent all day Saturday, stressed out and crying about this SUV that I have to put 5 children in. Its a safety concern. We were scheduled to leave Sunday at 8am on our summer vacation, we were delayed because of weather leaving. At 11am i'm pulling out of the driveway and a tow truck is pulling in, no other car on it. They want to just pick up this SUV and leave me no car in return. Literally already ruined 1 day out of our trip, lost money on my air B &B for Saturday. We drive to Venice Beach with the obnoxious beeping. Upon arrival there the check engine light comes on and the truck didn't want to accelerate. So wasted Sunday sitting around because we were afraid to drive anywhere. So again called customer service, was told to bring it to pep boys Monday, more gas money and time wasted out of our trip. The guy at pep boys was booked. But after complaining to him some. He disconnected the battery and reset the whole truck. So Saturday, Sunday and Monday all revolved around the SUV. Ruined our family/friends trip. So fast forward to return 7/17. I got the manager who was very nice but not very understanding or caring. He gave me a small discount for the inconvenience. No apologies for all the choas. What about my 3 days wasted on the phone going back and forth with customer service, tow companies, the drive to the airport and pep boys, the time away from our vacation, family and the biggest thing everyone's safety. Absolutely unacceptable.
