Disappointing experience at Mavis Tires, especially because the team there had always been awesome and very helpful in the past.
I stopped in at 8 a.m. with a screw in one of my BMW’s run-flat tires that was losing air. The service advisor asked if it was a run-flat and, when I said yes, immediately replied, “We don’t repair those.” I explained that I had previously had run-flat tires repaired at this same location several times, but he dismissed it by saying it must have been months ago, which wasn’t true and to be honest completely irrelevant.
I respect that businesses have policies, but what disappointed me was the lack of interest in helping. No explanation, no alternatives, and not even an offer to quote new tires.
Instead, I went across the street to Lowe’s, bought a $9 repair kit, fixed it myself in five minutes, and drove on it for almost a month until replacing all four tires for $2,400.
It’s unfortunate when one unhelpful employee can diminish a brand that previously provided such great service.

I have nothing but great things to say about Mark and Jeremy at Mavis Tires & Brakes. I had originally gone to Meineke for my tire repair. Meineke made me feel like the job wasn't worth their while. They said it would be hours of waiting and I would do better if I went somewhere else. Well, I did. And I couldn't have been happier. I came in on Sunday morning at 9 am. And yes, they are even open on Sundays! They took my car in immediately and 30 minutes later, my tire was fixed. The waiting room is nicely air conditioned, the bathroom was clean and I even took my dog with me without complaint. They have won my business. Not Meineke. First impressions are important and my impression with Mark and Jeremy was definitely positive. They are friendly and professional. I will definitely give them my business in the future! Well done, gentlemen! Thank you.
